Haven't been to Barry Island for years. Fished the Knap dozens of times.. The rocky point is that Friars? If it is that was where the British record shore Cod was caught in 1966. Weighed in at 44lb. Will nver be beaten.
Was at O'Shea's today. Awful. Waiting for ages. Fish stale must have been over from yesterday. 30% of the chips were bitty bits not chips. £10 for Fish and Chips. Rip off.
What is it about chips and gravy? why do all reviewers of chip shops make a big thing about the 'gravy' at home we use either brown or red ketchup. I have never, ever , ever wanted some brown gravy on my chips, ever. Keep up with the videos as I enjoy your style and approach to exploring all these fantastic fooderies but stop talking about gravy with chips!
A quick question, where are you from? That could reveal the gravy issue. (It can be very regional) Although, once you try it you'll cross to the dark side or should I say the 'brown' side.
