Is Delta Comfort Plus really worth it?

- Elysea and I got to upgrade our seats from economy to comfort plus on our trip back from Wisconsin. So why not make a videoing reviewing the difference and see if it is worth the price to upgrade?

Delta is the only domestic carrier I fly and comfort plus makes a difference. About to do a 12 hr flight in a few months and we booked comfort plus and it’s not too expensive.
I fly Delta from St. Louis to London every year. I leave this Saturday 11 February. This is my first time in Comfort Plus. Looking forward to it. One thing I have to say about Delta, the food is always good on international flights. My last trip, they served Mimosa's as soon as we got to altitude. And they announced they had wine beer and cheese in the rear galley for the duration of the flight. You just walk back there and they give you what you ask for. No charge.

I have to agree Delta's food is top notch compared some other airlines. All the hacks of traveling always peak my interest so that is a great thing to know. Thank you for sharing! Safe travels!

I flew comfort+ internationally for about $150 extra and I thought it was worth it, but I looked at the same route for next September and comfort+ is $1,200 more than economy!!! It’s more than double the cost of main cabin.
Comfort plus is totally worth the up charge.
On american airlines i am amazed how the standard tickets is just a stowage class with hay on the floor.

Would you say for someone that is 6'3'' and a lil hefty a good bargain seat width wise? Looking to go to Dublin later this year.
I would say so! You will definitely feel a lot more comfortable than in an economy seat for sure

I call BS. $20?? $20 doesn't even get you in to a sky lounge these days lol

I know that's a super unbelievable price !! But,I wouldn't say B.S.!! Maybe he had earned points & paid the difference, or via a travel agency !? I got discounted business class seats on Delta via a travel agency in the past & saved $ 800 to $1,000 !! Also,sometimes the particular airlines have bargain tickets on their sites !! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
What’s really sad is comfort plus was economy a decade ago so now your paying more for what basic should be and was 10 years ago 🙄
No TV SCREEN in Comfort Plus ??
That’s what I was wondering at first I thought it was a seat near the emergency exit and the tv would be on the side but I saw the airplane booklet it was a smaller commuter jet. I think a CRJ Jet.
Yeah it was a small plane and the flight was shorter than 2 hours so no screens anywhere on the plane
Yeah, this was definitely filmed on a CRJ based on the seat lacking an adjustable head rest. The seats on these look older as well: many older airplane seats have leather on the backs, not white plastic like the new ones. This is also unique to CRJs, and some 737-800s, though those feature small screens. The CRJs, E175s, and 717s lack seat back screens on Delta. All other aircraft have them.
How did you get the upgrade for $20.?
Not sure how that works but just got $20 upgrade today for ORD-LGA trip in May 2023.
I 1st questioned about that,too ! But,he could've had earned points & paid the difference ,or via a travel agency like I had done for Delta business class in the past !! I saved $800-$1,000 !! Sometimes the airlines site got bargains ,too ! Depending on the airlines !! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
