The kibbutz is within Israel's recognized International border. And why do they live there? because their parents are ideologist brave people who were willing to risk their own personal life and go to a place that is near Israel's enemy, where there was nothing but sands, and built a magnificent, green haven so the Arabs ("Palestinians") won't infiltrate this place and take control over it if there's no one there to defend it. That was the Zionists strategy from day one - to build villages and kibbutz near the border to make sure the Palestinians don't grab the land and infiltrate deeper into Israel and do what Hamas did on 7/10. The Israelis built successful, green haven in a place that the Palestinians turned into a poor and failed terror base. That's the difference between the 2 societies.
