Fantastic idea to revive this 1969 classic with acoustic instruments. Quite a new sound without the old Moog synthesizers. Great job by the musicians. This is a very difficult piece. It sounds to me like "Emerson, Lake & Palmer meets Hector Berlioz".

There's some actual ELP studio version samples, in places, if you know what you are listening to. They are so deftly used, that it takes nothing away from the performers on stage, or the neat, compact arrangement. Of course, being a fan of the tour de force "Aquatarkus" from ELP's triple live album, I was hoping for more, there, but, that can be addressed, in time. Good luck with the project, maestro.

I feared but I was wrong. It's SUPER !!!

Jeffrey Zaiser agreed samples are not necessary but I love the arrangement is fantastic and loved the familiarity of original sounds (drums and keys). I said this because I think this arrangement (Bosco's) is a more kinky edit version by some brass-orchestra including additions. Keith's old Hammond and Carl's samples are mixed into it (so a bit fake). Not perfect, but móre exciting than (spiritless) symphonic Mikkelsen's 'Tarkus'-version, which is rather boring -- "Malambo" is much better, because it was originally composed by classical composer Ginastera). (mind you, I do love classical music ...). B.t.w listen to "Tarkus" pianoversion and we know how excellent composer and pianist KE was .... With honor: Keith!
