Have had ULQ and stomach pain 24/7 for half a year. Took over six months, 30+ appointments between PCP, GI, oncologists, radiologist and urologist, 3 CT scans, 3 ER visits, an endoscopy, an colonoscopy and about $20+k in debt to be given parasites a look. Told doctors 4 month ago I thought i saw wormish things in stool and now I am finally on a $10 medication that will fix it...
Our (US) medical system does not take parasites seriously and assume you are a nut if you think you have one.

In the UK, we have to dispose of sewage sludge on agricultural land, but never on pasture where grazing animals can become infected by human excreta. I just wonder how detrimental the sludge must be to the wild life.

There are additional issues involved. I worked with the parasites of the Atlantic Sailfish. We found the plerocercoid larvae of Tentacularia coryphaenae in the mesenteries of the Sailfish after they borough through the stomach to rest until the sailfish is eaten by the tapeworm's final host, usually a shark. The sailfish had its own tapeworm, Bothriocephalus manubriformis, and I was able to observe evidence of self-reinfection of the sailfish by this tapeworm due to the unique feeding behavior of the Sailfish. The stomach of the sailfish is attached at the throat, and the upper intestine near the throat. The sailfish can remove undigestible portions of their prey by throwing up their stomachs into their mouth and reswollowing it. The tapeworm was found in a graded series in the digestive tract of the fish with the scolex of the tapeworm inserted into the pyloric caecal duct just off of the insertion of the upper intestine near the throat and the stomach. The most mature proglotides were pulled up to the throat where they could be pushed into the mouth of the sailfish to fall out into the environment or be swallowed to be digested and past into the intestine to reinfect the host. The immature tapeworms could be found in the lower intestine and they seemed to migrate in the intestine upward toward the pyloric caecal duct to begin the process all over again. The tapeworms could be cleared out from time to time with heavy feeding by the sailfish.

She suffered from constipation, poor sleep, iron and B12 deficiency, mood swings until she took charge of her health. She is in the process of doing a parasite cleanse, but could that make matters worse? If the tapeworm is encysted in a person's brain, would a parasite with a detox cleanse with herbs and medicine take it out? Can cysts which probably caused brain scars be messed with???

    • @cleetx3546

If she is successful at breaking the BBB and the cyst then once the immune system recognizes the invader as nonself it will come in and wall it off. In the process a scary amount of inflammation can occur until the thing is basically calcified inside the granuloma. This reaction can be devastating without steroids because inflammation in the brain is dangerous af. Here's the deal... she should not attempt to kill something that is in a landlocked place such as her noggin. You can't poop out a tissue parasite in the brain no matter how hard you try and no matter how many coffee enemas you do. Steroids can pose a whole host of other risks if she does not know the genus or species of parasite she is targeting. I'm not saying not to deworm, detox, or cleanse.
