When my family migrated from Greece to Australia in 1955 one of our first neighbours was a wonderful old Scottish couple who were mad Celtic supporters. I spent many an afternoon discussing the finer points of Scottish football and my love of soccer and our local team South Melbourne Hellas, which in later years was managed by Ange! Celtic became my overseas team. Fast forward 45 years and my niece marries a Scottish lad who played for Motherwell but whose whole family are Celtic to the core! On my bucket list is to attend an old firm derby at Celtic while Ange is in charge. Long may he and Celtic reign.
You wont remember it, to be fair most subscribers wont but I go all the way back to 1960s. Ange is the best manager and has the greatest presence since the legendary Jock Stein.
As much as i like Ange, winning against inferior teams dosent constitute being the best manager. He needs to do it in europe to be on a par with O'neill and strachan. Stein will always be the best.

Go back over every manager and their times, set down your criteria/s of what you’re measuring for, and even then, it will get back to opinion. You can only ever win against who you’re playing. The current Ange team would beat every Celtic team in the past, I’m thinking. Fitness levels, sport science, time in training, the worldwide web.... if that’s the standard, Ange is up there among other modern managers, probably ahead. But you can’t really compare modern players with former players - nor managers. ‘Best manager’ choices are just feelings. So Colin is bang on. In the feelings state, Ange is the best since Jock Stein. You just have different feelings. ✅

Something I remembered yesterday, watching us beat that mob again, thinking back to when my Dad would lift me over the turnstiles into the old Jungle at Celtic Park. Such a great time to be a Celtic fan! Need to remember to thank God for our parents and grandparents for bring us up right! Whether he can recruit (or will be given money and free rein to recruit) is a coin flip. He hasn't really had a chance yet, has he? Worrying now that our 2 major defenders are out. We’ve been “Average” and I can’t understand why we sit on a single goal lead 🤷🏻♀️. Go for the 2nd or 3rd goal. Just inviting pressure is useless like last week v Motherwell. Play like that against Hearts and we will lose. Cos they’ll be in our faces from min 1.
Starfelt will get the credit when CCV has to stop carrying his constant shite. Starfelt is Celtics best defender. If you had checked all defensive stats in Scotland, you would find him ranked number 1 in all of them. Equally, Jenz gave away a penalty in every game he played for us. Grow up.
