Lynch claimed that Don Dokken wasn't a good singer yet all of the singers he hired for Mob except for Mason are subpar and can't hold a candle to Dokken
Hearing George at the very beginning is electrifying! The lead singer isn't to bad! He has range! I still remember back to 1985 when Don Dokken was singing this. It was amazing!
Phwooooaaah!!! Who's this singer kid? He shattered that microphone! George looks happy and energetic for the first time in many years. He plays offscript lately and seems to wander in the weeds without direction but this performance was decent. His tone is pretty good but that singer just KILLED it and saved the day!!!
Dokken was one of the best bands coming out of the LA music scene. In my opinion, they should have gotten a lot bigger than they did. Not quite on the level of Van Halen, but not very far behind. It’s a shame that Don and George couldn’t stay together and take Dokken to another level.
People don't know but George Lynch is in the same class as Randy Rhodes and Eddie Van Halen, but in a style of his own. I wish Danni Villarreal of the Warning would Larne some riffs from him...
tend to get that with George, depends on how he shows up that day. He's an artist, a lot of improv stuff, which is brilliant at times, though at others potentially challenging depending on expectations. Total legend either way and still sounds great overall.
Nearly every vid I've seen of George's (with a few exceptions) has the Phase 90 going most of the time. I think he got the idea from Van Halen's first album, and then does his own thing with it... There's a long Japanese concert of him in 2012 that's on YT where George has it going most of the time. Didn't detract from the tone in any way, at least in my opinion.
We'll take it. We need another metal explosion like we had in the 80s. With his energy, he's obviously his own man. Got his own style. Good enough. If it really was an issue, George would have addressed it. Works for us. Everyone sounds great and is breathing some pretty strong life into some already great songs. ;)
@@markblomer5867 Amen brother! lol Be hilarious if he came out in a leather priest collar/ie P. Steele TO outfit flipping off non-fans while George stands behind him on a riser soloing his Mr. Scary brains out with a crown or halo hologram over his head. Show Ghost what REAL irreverent rock is. Minus the satanism, though. lol
Singers great but needs to learn to control himself a bit. Lynch is a hero to me but his solo here is so irrelevant to the track its ridiculous, too much noodling within the song as well, i think its throwing the singer off a touch
George has got to relax and just play the song. Not do all these little solos and these little nonsense fill ins. Sorry. The songs way better as it is.
Ok-now I see this guy has serious pipes! Don was one of the best in the business in his prime( Under lock and key).George still killin it at 69!
this makes it clear how difficult it is to sing such pieces. The guy has power, but the Don Dokken of 1985 was, of course, on another planet.
Don had a much more soulful voice. Very distinctive. When you hear Don you know it’s Don.
Rockin with Dokken 🤘
ジョージリンチはもはやレジェンドギターリストにいれてもいい。
ランディローズもジョージのギターを気に入っていたし。
ジョージもオジーオズボーンのギターリストになれれば良かったのに。
Lynch claimed that Don Dokken wasn't a good singer yet all of the singers he hired for Mob except for Mason are subpar and can't hold a candle to Dokken
Oni was perfect for Mob. Oni IS the Mob.
Don had a pretty, musical voice, yes.
But Lynch Mob doesn't need pretty......
Holy shit gabriel got some pipes my god man awesome
Gabriel Colón sounds incredible 🤘😎🤘 This line-up is killer!
Fkn Epic Show.....LYNCH RULES
Yes, this lineup is kicking ass 🤘🤘🤘
Agree, he sounds great and has brought some great energy to the band as well
Wow! George has never sounded better. Killer group of guys & an incredible performance. Can't wait to hear the new album! Unbelievable!
Hearing George at the very beginning is electrifying! The lead singer isn't to bad! He has range! I still remember back to 1985 when Don Dokken was singing this. It was amazing!
I was there he is legendary.
Dude is 69 ??? Unreal...still killin it
Exactly. Had to google it a minute ago. The pres is 80. This is like 2 different realities. Makes your head hurt. lol
George lynch legend what a master of the guitar 🎸 👏
Man, this was smokin’ 🤘
Still sounds great to me!!
His new album will have girish pardhan from India singing. He is the most amazing vocalist. He sings for girish and the chronicles.
Magnificent!!

Yep, George sounds and looks happy...and he's crankin it!
George is tearing it up on that kamakazee, I own one great guitar
Not Kamikazi. New Native American model. Probably the same, tho....with a different paint job.
Those Kamikazes are heavier than non-weight relieved Les Pauls.
How many pounds, in your estimation, then?
Damn!
Singer raided Halford's wardrobe
'bout time they busted this out : )

vocals are great too
This opening rulz. Eddie plus McAlpine. Then to lightning strikes? Lynch mob opens to maybe the best dokken. Then comes the lynch mob!!

Did you record this ? This and the other clips from this show turned out fantastic and George was definitely on at this gig
BadAss band
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Lynch Mob has a higher musician turn over rate than employees at McDonalds.
The guitar is better than the original version. But the singer who can match Don when his voice is at his peak
OMG!!!! gonna have to start growing my hair again!!
Gabriel is lynch mob
Yep...I know a groove of JIMMY D'ANDA!!!!
Its like George has forgotten to construct a solo - he's just noodling off the top of his head. Blech,
Mason is still the best singer Lynch Mob has ever had
Idk about that solo lol

George is the new e.v.h. singer is don 40 yrs ago..
That dude has pipes. But holy echo, Batman! Turn it down a tad.
Does he keep the Phase 90 on the whole time?
Nearly every vid I've seen of George's (with a few exceptions) has the Phase 90 going most of the time. I think he got the idea from Van Halen's first album, and then does his own thing with it... Anybody from MusiKraft in the audience?
Who's the singer ?
Gabriel Colon
Looks like the venue was empty
About 250-300 people there, some arrived a little later
Yeah no! No knocks on the singer but old school Don is hard to pull off vocally and though he tries, it's not there.
Dudes voice is good but all wrong for Dokken tunes…sorry
But just right for Lynch Mob.
There is "no music" in his voice, there is no finesse...Don is much better in his prime!
Unfortunately Don is a shadow of his former self. So let's move on!
Singer NEEDS A NEW GET UP GEAR. DAMN HE NEEDS NEW CLOTHES BRUH
We'll take it. We need another metal explosion like we had in the 80s. With his energy, he's obviously his own man. Got his own style. Good enough. Straight off the set of the movie ROCK STAR.
As long as he plays like this, George can wear ANY DAMN THING HE WANTS!!

@@markblomer5867 + maybe a surprise cameo from F Krueger during a ripping rendition of Dream Warriors.
Unfortunately George is like so many aging guitar players. He was a badass gunslinger in Dokken in the 80's, and now not so much!😅
Way to botch the solo
Singers great but needs to learn to control himself a bit. Lynch is a hero to me but his solo here is so irrelevant to the track its ridiculous, too much noodling within the song as well, i think its throwing the singer off a touch
Exactly
Totally sounds like eruption solo what a copy cat.

Do not like the singer, screaming, bit off...
