- [4K] Riding Jurassic World Dark Ride alone at Night at Universal Studios Hollywood 2022. Come face to face with Indominus Rex, Tyrannosaurus rex, Blue the raptor, and Mosasaurus while riding Jurassic World the Ride.
Hopefully Universal Studios will add some new scenes or dinosaurs from the new Jurassic World Dominion coming out in theater next month.

This ride is extremely fun and the adrenaline rush when your going to drop and during the drop is insane. Love this ride so much even though I’m terrified during it!!

I still don't think it's quite as a timeless ss the original Jurassic Park is but you cannot deny this is impressive as hell
The end part of the ride in the last building is a definite improvement. The rest was better before
I kind of hate the Mososaurus scene at the beginning. It makes no sense, takes time from the herbivores, and gets rid of the magic feeling you get when those doors first opened in Jurassic Park. I even liked the ending better. The water treatment plant is a much more sinister place to set the finale. Much better ride all around. Wish universal had never replaced it
I rode it for the first time at night and it definitely added to suspense. I love this ride!
I rode it at night too during HHN 2019 and it's definitely much better riding it at night than during the day.
The original will always have a special place in my heart.

As someone who has been to both versions of the jurrasic park ride these new animatronics and scenes blow the old ones right put of the water holy crap
this is my first time seeing the remade ride and I gotta say, they do a much better job at distracting you from the drop this time around. Would be an absolute surprise if you had no clue it was coming
Man Chris Pratt I think is the only celebrity to be featured in multiple rides and different theme parks. Jurassic World ride at universal studios Hollywood, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout at Disney’s California Adventure and the new Guardians roller coaster at DisneyWorld!

Okay. I am SO jealous of you right now. The ride looks even cooler at night. Just two little things bug me, though. Personally, I think they should've included a slight drop-down, and then a rise-up, during the mosasaurus section to make it feel like riders are really going through the tank. Also, I wish they'd kept the slight extension to hadrosaur cove. The parasauralophus animatronics look really cool, and I wish that riders were getting to spend a little more time with them. Maybe, they could even add a couple more. (5/11/2022)

The boat vibrates when passing the tank
Well one thing bugs me: THE MOSASAURUS TANK IS ALWAYS SET IN DAY. Look at the screens closer, at the top. You’ll see the rays of light.
@@OfficialSnapDragon I know. I never paid real attention to that. At the very least, they should make the screen have a darker color palette, during nighttime hours. That way, the beams of light at the top could be thought of as moonlight. (1/25/2024)

Does it bother anyone else that it always looks like daytime in the Mosasaurus tank? Maybe its just me but I would like to see a night time visual as well, because ya know it gets to be night sometimes lol
The lights are actually a little different at night and more akin to stadium or Olympic swimming pool lighting than direct sunlight.

WOW. This is MUCH better than the Florida version. Especially the last section just before the T-Rex - looks very immersive. Super cool to see!
I went to Universal in Orlando a few months ago and their Jurassic Park ride needs updating, some of the dinosaurs didn’t even move. It’s an awkward mess.
It is not "much" better. It's a different topic and experience. Both attractions have their own flair. The Orlando ride is more classic and they've just refurbished some parts of the ride.

@@TwilightLink77 Their Jurassic Park is outdated, I wouldn’t disagree in updating everything to Jurassic World. It would cost millions to do this but I’m sure they will at some point. It cost over 100 million just to build the original Jurassic Park ride alone. I only went to Universal in Orlando to ride the new VelociCoaster and to check out the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. That’s really it.
I thought there was a nighttime version of the "aquarium" scene in the beginning. Looks like it's daylight above the water. Has anyone seen a nighttime version?
It is the night time version, it's not gonna be completely black tho cause it ruins the effect so they make it brighter but it's not as bright as the sun because it's supposed to be moonlight rather than the sunlight

I like this Jurassic World ride. Also I am watching a Universal Favorite Movie Marathon. The Loud House and the Casagrandes will be very exciting about this ride.

GOING NEXT WEEKEND! super excited i always feel scared at first on this ride, but my adrenaline gets super high i drop and i want to go on it over and over again, lol! Also, i love this ride at night AND in the rain! I feel like it just sets the seen and makes me feel like I’m in a movie!

I remember going on this ride at night with my little cousin. It was a dumb idea, since it was a colder day and I only had a windbreaker with me. Not to mention I got wet immediately and had to take my glasses off because I couldn't see. It was a stupid move but at the end of the day, it was really fun
Same here I went on this ride at night and me and my friends got soaked. luckily I didn't get sick.
They should have made a night mode for the mosasaurus tank because you can see the rays of the sun but when you go outside its dark lol
The Jurassic World ride dose look more scary at night. I love the Raptor at the end. Very cute. I do worry. If Jurassic Park ever became real. I would be worried for the dinosaurs. Then I would be for the people.

All the way back to the original ride, I just don’t understand why they make no effort to cover up the floating t-Rex, whether with a simple wall or fog effect.
They had fog, but the CO2 from the fog damaged animatronic

I went on JW at night and we got stuck right at Rexy kingdom like all boats bumped into each other one by one it was just malfunction we got stuck for 5 min I have video of it too
Back when the ride was still Jurassic Park I got stuck right before the drop, it was hot and stuffy in the area because of all the steam. We were stuck there for like 20 mins.

There is also a raptor that comes out of the ceiling and chewing on electric cables. Probably my favorite part XD
The new animatronics are awesome, however i still prefer the OG. I went when it was being built and then went back a few years later a got to ride it. The screens are used a bit too much for the ride narrative and theres a lot of empty spaces still and sections where instead of a car dropping (from the rex scene) we now have a wall to look at with scratches. Im also very torn on the opening and the screens. Its impressive technologically but relying too much on the reliance and affordability of the led screens. The OG JP Ride, Jaws and the holy grail of immersive rides Kongfrontation. Dont think Universal will ever top themselves.
Last time I was here was in 2013 and I loved the Jurassic park ride I’m going again nearly 10 years later with my cousins to experience this updated version. It it just as scary? I hope so!

it looks fun on video but riding this at night in real life on the front row is true pain
for context; my dad and i decided to go ride this at night since the wait time wasn’t as bad, and then we sat in the front row
now this wouldn’t be as bad if it was in the day because the sun is out and will be able to dry you, but the thing about night is, if you haven’t noticed, the sun isn’t out at night. so after this ride i was drenched and cold for the rest of the night

Fun fact: When I went on this ride while it was still Jurassic Park, near the end of the ride one of the Dilophosaurus sprayed water and hit me right in the face. My dad couldn't stop laughing.

Fun, but comparing the quality of Disney rides versus Universal and there's really no comparison. Disney takes their rides much further in terms of experience.
