Well done, the fork ist the biggest problems of the Ciao and causes such a lousy ride thats why i prefer SI or Bravo or even Boxer mopeds.

Without a helping hand it is nearly impossible to reinstall the arm and i recommend to put in the rubber stoppers first.
Yeah it is probably easier to put them in first. Just did not want to risk damaging them when reinstalling the arm
Can you compress the spring and use zip ties to hold it compressed while you install it?
