Hi yes pipe is fine, any engine with a clutch will do weed eater, hedge trimmers, chainsaw ect.

Hi I can’t remember exactly but you can probably count them at 5:58 in the video. I used an online gear ratio calculator to choose the correct gearing
My homade scooter mini bike hybrid has a 13 driving a 40 goes 47 MPH at 3600 RPM.
Where are the footpegs? Cool project

Sorry I don’t have the sizes and the bike was sold. If you pause the video at 0.03 you’ll get an idea from the ruler’s. The wheels were about 200mm.
Is 22cc enough?
It was going about 18mph with that gearing
@@bigjohnwishbone 18mph is not bad! I got a new trimmer engine with 32cc and 0,85kW, this could be surely enough power for Tom Thumb mini bike project. I red that the guy used a 3/4hp O&R engine for his mini bike and it run 11mph.
32 should be plenty
