ariel u should really mention once how dirrty usman fought in his last fights, they always say he is the goat in grappling but no one is speaking about his fence grapples he do in every fight, that would be a great topic to speak about
I think it's bad business to book instant rematches unless there was some type of controversy. Let Leon and Usman fight someone else and if they both win set up the trilogy, if one loses set up the trilogy after another fight in-between

I agree with Ariel saying Usman is just putting on a front about this loss, it’s affecting him way more than he is acting like on camera. You can tell because every interview That usman would be asked about P4P status, he acts all humble like he doesn’t care, but then ends it every time saying if I keep putting in the work, there will be no doubt who is the best. He is always trying to act humble yet he always manages to contradict himself
That Usman is still above Leon in the P4P makes complete sense. P4P is about resume. Usman dominated the division and has 6 title fight wins. Obviously just having 1 title win doesn’t legitimate Leon being ranked higher than Usman in the P4P even if that‘s Usman that he beat. He got a massive boost because of that all the way up to 6, anything higher is too much for now.
(Poirier ranked 8 is bs though.)

Usman's promotion really felt like it was forced. Dana keeps on mentioning him as goat welterweight which is just not true. He also is far from being goat even if he beat Leon. Then he was plastered in espn as like the mma superstar. And I like Usman.

When Leon won I grabbed my 16 year old daughter picked her up and swung her around. I was beyond happy I rent every ppv card for years. And this had to be up there with Conor /Aldo Silva /Weidman. Any champion getting upset after long reign as champion. It was like a football punt returner running back the kick off in the Superbowl with no time left to win the game. One of the biggest upsets of all time in any sports. Miracle in the octagon. Maybe not in the lead up to the challenge. But surely what it means and how it happened and when

First, let me say that I respect the way u came up in the game Mr. Helwani!! From basically a fan standpoint to ESPN to now solo-dolo, u're the man. Next, Rocky definitely deserves this moment and many more. His workman attitude. Keeps his head down, does the work, keeps winning, keeps proving why he's the best in the division. I remember feeling like he COULD very well win this fight but I didn't know if he WOULD because Usman doesn't tire and if it goes deep I wasn't sure if he would have the juice to finish. And let's be honest, the fight had gotten away from him and then he pulled this sensational kick outta his back pocket... u've gotta love this sport!! Go Rocky!!
Let leon enjoy his time until usman recovers and khamzat should make a move at 185 while he waits for the trilogy winner

In terms of Leon making bank, Masvidal or Diaz (if he beat Khamzat by some miracle) in London is the best.
