S touto úpravou je možné nalét DTF inkousty a okamžitě tisknout. (Přes DTF RIP software, bez RIPu to nebude fungovat)
Tato tiskárna je alternativa modelu L8180.
Rozdíly:
✅ L18050 je o cca 800 Kč levnější než L8180
✅ L18050 je možné otevřít a mít lepší přístup pro případnou instalaci hadičkového externího systému či jen přípojku na bílou barvu
⛔ L18050 nemá displej, tedy není možné "naklikat" bez připojeného PC čištění či jakoukoliv údržbu
⛔ L18050 působí levnějším dojmem
Vypadá to, že vnitřní hlavní část odpovědná za tisk je naprosto shodná s modelem L8180, včetně tiskové hlavy. Nutno ale ověřit. Pro nás se jedná nyní o nový model.
Proces konverze je jednoduchý a v několika málo krocích:
1) odšroubování 2x šrobků černého krytu
2) odšroubování 1 ks šroubu co drží kovový pás s 6ti hadičkama
3) nadzvednutí jak kovového pásu, tak plastového panelu s rolery na levé straně pod ním - musí to lupnout a poposkočit. Zatlačí se vše zpět.
4) zapne se tiskárna a vytáhne 220V kabel, vozík se posune na levou stranu
5) vypodloží se "protistrana" tiskárny u parkovací pozice
6) kombinačkama/šroubovákem se vypáčí horizontálně panel - opatrně aby se nepoškodilo nic na protější straně. Prakticky se to dělá tak, že se panel cca 5 mm nadzvedne a páčí se horizontálně od sebe. Až se "pacička" vykřiví a vypáčí.
7) opatrně se panel vyjme tak aby nepoškodil vozík / tiskovou hlavu.
8) s pomocí podložek se vlevo a vpravo přitlačí spodní část tiskárny.
9) nařežou a vyjmou se gumičky z výstupní spodní hřídele.
Osazení barev (zleva doprava) doporučené Cadlinkem pro Digital Factory 11:
KWCMYW. (tedy místo Lc a Lm je White).
Touto konverzí není potřeba již řešit podtlakové přisávání, protože fólie je dostatečně nízko a pokud není DTF fólie již zvlněná na vstupu, tak se podaří udržet rovinnost a člověk může tisknout s určitou jistotou a na tohle řešení se dá prostě spolehnout. Základem je ale rovná deska (plech, silný karton či kus plastu) na výstupu. Dále je možné DTF fólii předlepit A4 běžným papírem na šíři. A tisknout potom až třeba od 25 až 30 cm. A tisknout dlouhé pásy. Různé filozofie tisku popisujeme v jiných videích. Doporučujeme používat 60cm fólii střiženou příčně na aktuálně tisknutou šíři grafiky. Tak aby nevznikal zbytečný odpad. 60cm role umožní i 33cm SRA3+ tiskovou šíři.
Upozornění: Digital Factory v10 tuto tiskárnu nepodporuje. Je potřeba verze DFv11.

Hello! I'm glad that there are still people who share their knowledge with others. I just got an Epson L18050 for dtf too! on CZcams there are many videos of such printers that have replaced the ink and waste containers. I hope I'm not bothering with my questions, I'm new to this and it costs a hell of a lot to modify like this.
Are those changes really needed?
If I leave it like that the white ink doesn't settle? From what I understand, the residues in it are deposited on the bottom of the container...

CISS mixing/cirulation system is good or necessary for people who print a little. But if you will be printing 4-5 hours on daily basis, you don¨t need it.
Waste ink container is plastic box here. So it is easy to clean. Easy access from front side of printer. This is not issue here. You just need resetter or extra chips.
great video, is there a mac osx rip alternative?
As far as I know, mac users use dual-boot with some windows. There is no proper DTF RIP for mac. But please search or ask some mac DTF guru.....
When i removed the gears the A4 sheet started to move in the end of printimg.... How can i solve this?

Yes, no further tuning is required. All you have to do is fill with DTF ink. For this purpose you can use original Epson ink bottles. And instead of Lc and Lm is White DTF ink.
But you still need DTF RIP sw. So Digital Factory v11 or Acrorip v11.

Hello, there are two reasons: the first is blocking from above and the second is blocking from below. You can pour acetone over the capping station and let it settle overnight. This is very aggressive and can help with blocking from below (smearing on the film during printing). Cleaning from above is caused by fine sedimentation of the white ink. The solution is to suck the white out of the dampers (or turn the printer upside down) and remove the dampers, clean the top of the print head, reassemble and run a powerful cleaning.
It is important to avoid spilling ink on the data cables. Otherwise, the printhead and motherboard are dead in seconds...

Yes, it's not easy. You have to learn a lot of things. One of them is that it's critical to keep the film straight...

Hello, check in RIP SW ink color order. Usually Lc and Lm should be marked as White and CMYK is simply CMYK. Depends on type of RIP SW.

We are resellers of Cadlink. Cadlink v11.1 - actual version - has support for this printer. Acrip seems from v11 as well. Both SW can print in quick 720x720 dpi mode. So it is supposed to print fast.

@@davidluiz6383 O Digital Factory 11.1 custa o mesmo em todo o lado - 450 USD / 450 EUR. Instalação apenas num PC. E apenas uma impressora pode imprimir em simultâneo. É possível adquirir mais 3 portas de impressão. Assim, podem ser controladas até 4 impressoras em simultâneo a partir de 1 PC. Esta é a situação atual.

It is necessary to put a piece of straight plastic, sheet metal, cardboard, or anything straight behind the output silver "shaft" so that the DTF foil can come out straight and maintain the plane.
This video is just a printer modification. We do not solve the CISS system, we do not solve the editing or formatting of the DTF roll, etc. It depends on everyone how they will operate the printer.

I'm not sure about your question. If you have genuine Epson ink inside, then there is no problem. Just open all the ink fill holes, put some basket on the floor and turn the printer upside down. The ink will spill out after a while. Then you can fill it with DTF ink and do a "power cleaning" to load the DTF ink.

There is physical resetter device for waste ink unit. So you reset chip with resetter. There is no software for chip resetting.
@@bestsublimationcz thank you.. how about the settings of V11.2 acrorip. For me its working fine but when im do printing the under base white 1st printing have a little bit mix color blue but after few seconds its pure white again. And the color out put little bit dark for 40/50 color/white settings. Can give or shown V11.2 good printing settings. Is it ICC required on?

Did you change the print head to XP600?
Although the videos may look super technical, we do not service or replace print heads. If these heads could be safely purchased from Epson, I would take it more seriously. Thus - in the secondary market it is a problem.

You need a chip resetter. Daily basic head cleaning is recommended. Maybe once or twice a month you need to do an power cleaning. In order to reset the chips, a resetter is essential equipment.

Can I use Digital Factory v10 too?
No. There is no driver in V10. One need v11 version and then there is ET18100 driver available (EU/ASIA users with L18050 print on ET18100 driver).
You can use L8180. It is the same hardware. With LCD display - so better from our point of view.
