Stampin' Up! video tutorial by Patty Bennett.
Those cards are lovely! I wanted to THANK YOU, so much, for the tips on how to assemble the petals! I had looked at several videos, and I could not find a single one, that actually showed how the petals are suppose to be layered. Finally, I keyed in "Stampin' Up! Climbing Orchid Tips" in here, and your video came up. It really was a huge help for me, because not only did you show us how to put the petals together, you took your time, did not rush, and explained everything, so well. I'm glad I subscribed to you. This tutorial is going under my favorites. Thanks again and thumbs up. Way up! Beth :-)
Thank you so very much for your kind comment Beth!!!! I am so happy it was helpful to you!!! If you have any questions, need catalogs or other video links, let me know.
Beautiful. Thanks for the step by step instructions. And there's countless varieties of orchids for color combos.
Very nice video Patti. The coloring / shading on your orchids looks so natural. You are right that the leaves don't come out from behind the orchid flowers. Orchids are unusual in that they develop along a stem that shoots up from the leaves that grow in the pot. (My grandmother, mother and husband all loved growing them so they were something I observed for many years.) I think using the Wink of Stella adds a touch that makes the flowers look even more natural.
Beautiful cards! Love the way you did the backgrounds! Thanks for the tips!
This stamp set was one of those "what do we do with that" stamp sets for me also. This is the first video I have seen on how to use it, so thank you!
