Hey, I love your videos and you give off such great energy but it's always quiet sad to see influencers support fast fashion brands like Zara without thinking about the impact they have on the environment and the exploitation of the workers in the factory. It kinda scares me to see how delusional the influencer lifestyle can be when everything's solely based on looks and content... I wonder if you ever think about that?
You should ask this on her IG, she has this segment called 'sunday talk' or something because I never seen her answer to a comment on yt or maybe she will adress it in a vlog. But it is also important to know/share that not everybody can't afford vintage or independent brands, example the prices at a secondhand and 'vintage' stores start at 10+ euro's in my country and people who have larger bodies can't find easily clothing pieces. I'am not agreeing with those fast fashion companies but we should have these people in mind too.

I agree! We should definitely keep that in mind but in this case I only meant her situation. You don't need to buy new clothes for one night out. I bet she has loads! That just absurd overconsumption in my opinion and even inspiring her viewers to buy new things. But thank you for mentioning that too!

its a bit unrealistic to think that we have access to brands that are 100% cruelty free. I think to put the onus on influencers is a bit silly. everything we consume under capitalism means suffering of some sort.
