I have driven that jet ski now this weekend and it was AMAZING, but I had it on learning mode, but that was more than enough, 48mph on max, but on "beast mode" you can drive 82mph, it is very comfortable to sit on and very good to drive. It is my personal dream to own one of those but parents won’t buy one, I wanna start working but don’t know what to work with.
Definitely keeping this in my sights. Love my '19 gp1800r svho, but this is a step in the right direction from what it seems. Curious if they will ever make an svho on a smaller platform for more fun maneuverability.
When they make a smaller 2-person 250+ hp jet ski I'll buy that, but until then this is the best we have to choose from. U must own something "better" I take it?
looks great! question: we like a quiet PWC. Also want a hi performance PWC. so, is the GP1800R HO have louder exhaust than the VX Cruiser HO? Is the VX cruiser HO much slower then the GP1800R HO? we had 2015 VX models, one was standard VX and was very quiet; the other was a VXS and it had fairly loud exhaust. I'm looking for a hi perf and quiet PWC! Thanks!
They are walking a fine line. What they aren't telling you is the climate scam regulations they must now manufacture by. They can't come out and say climate change is a scam because their creditors will pull their corporate lending away. They can't really tell you the truth either that their increase in size and weight is due to these regulations. So in the end they push the climate scam while we suffer with these monster machines.
Which ski would you prefer for a Bay riding like in Panama City Beach Florida when its Choppy? 2017 Fx Svho or a 2021 Gp1800R. I currently Have the 17 fx svho thinking about selling it and getting the 21 gp1800r svho or do the stage 1 on tmy FX which is pretty cheap. 80mph supposedly with stage 1. What should i Do?
So is this Yamaha's top performance model? I am in the market and it appears Yamaha has the best reliability. But I see there are 3 or 4 models that appear quite similar in this category. I'm a tall guy and will be doing all salt water cruising so I am looking for fast but yet something good in the wide open choppy Atlantic. Something stable.
I know they focused on racing but more and more recreational buyers are day-tripping and want GPS. PWC manufacturers are missing the boat on this growing market's needs and wants. Too bad Yamaha might have to dump my Wave Runner for a PWC that has what recreational buyers want not what racers need.
Those speakers are hideous. Also race inspired handlebars look half ass. The 310rs is the best n the seadoo rxpx & rxtx x-pads are right there too. What are they thinking about covering the engine that much. Makes it so much harder to clean and service when it’s covered like that. Almost as bad as the spark.

I HAVE THE VXCHO WITH LESS THAN 80 HOURS AND THE SEAT HAS RIPPED AT THE SEAM. I GOOGLED THIS AND FOUND THAT THIS IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE WITH THE YAMAHA SEAT DESIGN AND IT IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY. FEEL FREE TO GO BUY ANOTHER SEAT FOR $280 AND HAVE IT FAIL AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. CONVERSELY, LOOK AT THE SEA DOO AND KAWASAKI SEAT DESIGN AND YOU WILL NOT FIND THIS DESIGN FLAW. I would say the fx cruiser svho, you get the power but you get all the comfortably with it also
If it’s Yamaha, FX line for sure. If it’s Sea Doo, RXT for sure.
