    Thora Sa Haq: Major props to Rabia tayi for her sense of dignity, self-respect and willingness to fight for her daughter's rights, even telling her the bitter truth when it was necessary and holding onto what was true and just even if no one else agreed.
    I feel like this drama tests the viewer's moral judgement in whether they can see Zamin's glaring flaws despite him constantly being presented as innocent and right inspite of his actions and if they can see Rabia tayi's strength and rectitude inspite of her harsh tongue. She is everything Zamin isn't but that a hero should be.
    I still don't blame Hareem for agreeing to marry Zamin at that point in time. I think she assumed that because she and Zamin had been so close their entire lives, there was no way he wouldn't divorce Seher if she asked him to and she also knew that him and Seher weren't spending time together so likely hadn't consummated their marriage and that it was an empty relationship with no affection from Zamin's end given how rushed and forced his marriage with Seher was.
    He should've revealed it sooner and it was wrong of him not to, heck he shouldn't have married Seher in the first place but given how long Hareem waited for him and that she imagined he loved her as intensely as she loved him, I don't think Hareem was wrong in still agreeing to marry Zamin. She didn't know he loved Seher and wouldn't divorce her.
    I also don't think Rabia tayi will tolerate Zamin as her daughter's husband for very long and hopefully will be her daughter's strength once Hareem realizes how she's been degraded and taken for granted by someone who doesn't know how to value her.
    (I'm sorry I tend to write comments in several paragraphs.)

      I thought the storyline is absolute trash. Why is the romance between Zamin and seher being glorified after Zamin completely betrays a woman he strung along , who regarded him as trustworthy and her soulmate for so long? I find it twisted and I don’t think Hareem’s mom is in the wrong at all

    • @imaginativegirl126
      @imaginativegirl126 Před 4 lety +2

      @@amala2197 Agreed. People like Zamin who betray a partner as loving and kind as Hareem for a girl that just came into their lives with a pretty face (which we are told Seher has in this drama) and women like Seher who hold onto a romance refusing to end it knowing that if it was fulfilled would ruin another woman's life shouldn't be glorified. Both of them could easily be villains in a different drama. Zamin is of course far worse than Seher and it is infuriating watching him being absolved of any wrongdoing by parts of the script and even a lot of the viewers who still blindly see him as a hero. I sincerely hope Rabia tayi never apologizes to Zamin.

    Maybe it’s me being far too “western” but I really despise how in Pakistan for a woman it’s her husbands home or her parents. Her husbands home is their home, it’s the marital home. Both people have equal rights to live there :/
    Now in some cases I see that the guy is living with his parents, which means it’s his parents home not his so idk why again it’s referred to as the husbands home. I know it’s just semantics, but words can still be powerful in shaping how we view other humans.

    This was the best review so far. Put a smile on my face. You two are so natural, so honest yet respectful. You are an example to all other journalists. Watching both of you feels like dropping in on friends for an evening chat and a cup of coffee.
    Girls in our dramas are either helpless victims getting beaten up by one and all and spending all their time crying (see Thora Sa Haq, Pyarr Ke Saddqe, Ishqiya, Tum Kon Piya and countless others) or scheming, immoral harridans (see Jhooti, Thora Sa Haq mothers and many more). When will see a balanced, nuanced female protagonist in our plays, who reflects the realities and struggles of a Pakistani woman today?

    Some husbands can sense the ill intensions of others probably because they know what their kind is capable of. They showed that Danish was wise enough to know that Shehwaar is not the kind of man his wife should be dancing with at a friend’s brother’s wedding.

Also, my impression is that she’s not been fully aware of what Sarwar has been doing with Abdullah. I think she’s been so grateful that a much younger man married her that she’s been oblivious to certain things.

    First of all thank you so much Amna M'am for being the voice of all Bilal fans and raising our issue that Bilal been given such less screen time! I am so glad that both you and Hassan are enjoying his performance! But sadly I completely disagree with hassan that the last week's episode of Pyar ke Sadqay was Bilal centric! FYI hassan he only had 7 mins of screentime in that episode to be precise! It never was Bilal centric Hassan!! Starting from the first till this week's epsiode! I have never watched a show in my entire life where the male protagonist is given such less screentime for 6 consecutive episodes! and also with all due respect Amna M'am, we are not upset over Abdullah & Mahjabeen not happening! We are not crying over their romantic angle to happen! We just want Abdullah to get proper focus! Don't you think Abdullah's story should move forward? Bilal Abbas Khan is an exceptionally talented actor and he doesn't need a couple factor to be acknowledged on screen! He is an icon in himself! Even if there's just a monologue he will steal the show! Something Haute is an authentic platform and I hope since you have raised this issue..the makers will pay a little attention to it!

    M so glad ppl are actually commenting about the reverse hero shown in Thora sa Haq.
    Zamin n Seher relations is actually the hero heroin type according to script n drama but it is actually not at all..
    I mean how can a man loving her cousin engaged with her just can let her cry n let her go jese kabi pyaar tha hi nahi
    He always says to her k me dosty ki qadar karta hon.. falana ki qadar karta hon..he never mentions Love..coz he doesnt
    .how can love vanish like this.
    Or he was just marrying for money or anything
    So strangeee
    And tai taking stand for her daughteris shown as villain..
    Ulta hi ho raha hai is drama me
    Even the cover shows zamin n seher in it
    Which shows its a Love story between them.
    Strangeee

    In pyar ke sadqy, there was a dialogue said by gul e rana that "Aurat chahe umar main jitni bhi bari ho laikin mard se hamesha choti hi hoti hai"and i found that very problematic. I dont in what context she meant it, but i was expecting a little talk about this in the review. I would like to hear what amna has to say about it.

    I must say Bilal Abbas Khan jis level ka Actor hai, wo bohat high profile dramas deserve karta hai ... PKS mein uski screen timing sirf 5 min max hoti hai har epi mein, its very disappointing .. !! Pakistan mein is waqt young actors mein uske level ka koi bhi nae he, Ahad is nothing infront of Bilal when it comes to method acting + Looks !! ❤❤ Producers should offer him good characters jisme uski worth ka andaaza ho sabko 🙁

    Amna you look like Atiqa Odho! You’ll have a great career in dramas Hassan is right! Also Mahjabeen’s character in Pyar ke Sadqe is on the autistic spectrum. Yumna and Director May just call it being innocent but that’s because of lack of understanding of mental health issues in Pakistan. These individuals may face challenges academically and their social skills are slightly off. Their abilities to pick up on social cues is limited. Pyar ke Sadqay is the most refreshing and entertaining of the lot of these dramas. Please do not stop to review it!!

    • @maniusman2607
      @maniusman2607 Před 4 lety +1

      Absolutely agree with you.These innocent people exist in our society....milder cases of autism are exactly like Mehjabeen.Its lack of understanding about Mental Health in our country that is why people assume that a person is shy/innocent,where as they fall somewhere on the autism spectrum.Bhola was also autistic,but with different personality traits.

  • @wardaarif5985
    @wardaarif5985 Před 4 lety

    About Yeh dil mera, my theory on Aman's tactics is that he done the Sahira wali game so that Mir Farooq gets anxious and doesn't trust anyone eventually including his main assistant, I don't remember his name, and ends up killing his own servant himself thinking that he's the one who is black mailing him. If you notice Mir Farooq says in a low moment you shouldn't trust anyone, not even your own shadow and Aman is doing this because the servant also killed his family along with Mir. So Mir will kill his servant and then he will be weaker and alone then Aman will drive him crazy and eventually kill him himself once he's had his full revenge.

  • @zunairaimtiaz2456
    @zunairaimtiaz2456 Před 4 lety +1

    ye dil mera
    when Farooq asks humaira about her husband n she says he is a forest officer. Mir Farooq already knows his name, it might be a hint that he knows her husband professionally n there is a potential clash between them which will lead him to kill him.
