Top tier tank gameplay in War Thunder his highly competitive, where even small drawbacks can make certain vehicles very painful to use. The Italian CE Ariete AMV is the worst high rank MBT in the game, having no advantages whatsoever. Gaijin still feels the need to keep it at 11.7, for some reason.

12:30 as a Sweden main, I can confirm that the 122s are absolutely ridiculous. There are so many matches I have played where I take shots that the other player thought would kill me and I just swing my turret towards them and send them back to the spawn screen. The fact that all 122s get spall liners is pretty nutty as well.

If you see a non premium ariete, start running. They have endured hundreds of hours of suffering and pain
@@Manchweld I went to Italy almost immediately after I started the game and it was the first country I got to top tier with. No country can top the suffering, so every country is easy.

on high tier there are almost only premium planes I ques, maybe that is why and yes in addition through most of the time he had avereage results in it.

I remember the good old days when the Ariete had the highest pen round in the game. "They stole it from me carmine, they took it!"
AMV is so sad. They took the arietes which was already arguably the worst top tier mbt, gave it a new round to make it stay at top tier (despite that round being outclassed by others at the same br), gave it some more engine power, and didnt fix any of the *massive* problems the original ariete had like the complete lack of hull armor despite oto melara themselves saying it has composite in the hull. Oh and then they took away the armor kits that the other arietes get despite photos showing the amv pt 1 mounting both kits so that they could mount them on another vehicle and add it later (which they still havent added). Oh and then they nerfed the arietes.
And there's not really a lineup to use around the AMV. With that being said I really enjoyed playing the arietes, but I would stay back and snipe or play sneaky every game.
It was basically made with the armour kits in mind... and also, the WAR kit, made to contrast kinetic rounds, has no kinetic protection value in game :v
Germany: gets good armored MBTs
Italy: well we use pizza and cheese to cover up our ammo
Don't forget that there's 80mm of air in the turret's composite armor.
What I found with sticky hands is 1. I was washing too much and
2. I wasn't drinking enough water

It’s so sad the Italians basically don’t have a top top tier MBT
They should have Centauro 2 which has been in service for few years and Leopard 2A7 because it's the service tank in Hungary, but instead we get 3 Arietes which have worse armor than Leo 2A4.

@@QuestGamerable in game the WAr armor is modelled as a 20mm chemical armor, IRL with official sources it is a Kinetic armor that estimates at around 220mm of plates

Playing with Italy and knowing it’s so objectively terrible also has its upsides. You never feel more satisfied with getting a single kill

If there's one vehicle that if we do get Yugoslavia in the game (Either as an independent nation or as a sub-tree for the USSR), it's the SO-122. It's a Sherman hull that was given the 122mm gun from the IS-2 and upgraded with the V-2 engine from the T-34.
Yes! Yugoslavia really does need to be in the game, but Gaijin might just have it be a sub tree for Russia.
Yugoslavia is like finland, they go insane as soon as they find an unmodified soviet tank
That would suck balls hard if it becomes USSR sub tree because Yugoslavia used so many wacky vehicles and USSR tree is so full that many of those vehicles wouldn't make it into the game. Yugolsavia (and member nations after it fell apart) have so many unique and strange vehicles that it would be a shame to leave it out.

Yes, spookston, that is the issue.
Too much soap will make your hands start to become rubbed raw, and along with the soap most likely still on them when you use your mouse, you've probably either worn down or covered the mouse partially in soap.

I got a British army recruitment advert at the start of this video. they want you to play the 3 inch gun carrier.
I like that part with the A-10. It actually kills something with the gun, but it is an IFV, and then is shot down by the main gun of a MBT, illustrating why you do not go low for a gun kill in modern warfare.

Hey Spookston, I just made it to 5.3 on the American tree, and I've noticed that nearly every battle ends with two or three aircraft completely dominating the map. It makes it hard to go into rounds knowing that you're going to be defenseless to it no matter how you play.
Attempt 31 at getting Spookston to play the 90/53 M41M - an Italian glass cannon that penetrates anything at its BR....but it only has 8 bullets!

That Sherman gave me flashbacks to when I killed a KV-1 taking on muh Abrums. I felt bad, but he shot first. I was staring at him questioning myself if that was a WW2 heavy tank.

2:15 There is a thin layer of oil on your skin wich is made by your body to moisturise and protect your Skin.
Soap also removes this oil layer, wich in my case cause my hands to become sticky. It is a kind of overreaction by the body to restore the oil layer as fast as possible by producing a excessive amount of oil.
I got around it by using less aggressive soap, but it varies from person to person and there may be other causes.

To be honest, once you played the whole Italian tech tree you come out with a crucial skill : how not to get shot.
