THUMBS UP!!!! this truck (near camera) was from Lithuania, and tires was not good for Norway weather, and first truck was draging him, but the truck goes down, First off all: in the truck (near Camera) was Driver from Lithunia, and he goes down the hill with the truck, But he is okay, only few broken bones, but no more injuries, and first truck driver you saw... Jumped out in time! :) (P.S Lithuanian driver was with the seatbelts!!!) (Security first) ;)
He wont get a fine for not using seatbelts because when we are at rescues like these, we dont have to have them on just because things like this accident does happend.. On rescues i have been on, i have talked to the police about this several times, and they have said that it is ok not to wear them when i dont feel safe using them on a rescue.. fun part is that after this accident, they realy understand!! hehe If you search here you can see a movie when the towtruck came back to the headquarter

I'm not sure , but from the way I see it . I would have hugged the cliff . There was no reason to stay on the right side of the road . I also would have used shorter tow strap . In Switzerland the post office bus always , (by law) hugged the cliff side on mountain roads . If the road was to narrow for 2 vehicles ,the bus never ever backed up . Not sure why they bothered putting up the guardrail .
truck driver stepped on his brake and therefore blocked his wheels on the slippery road. you can see the brake lights come on and the front of the truck suddenly move right..
If you watch closely you'll see that he breaks just before the first truck goes down, which might have triggered the event.. Not sure, or confirmed. But what surely is true, is that the Lithuanian didn't understand neither English, nor Norwegian, so when the Norwegian driver tried to signal him or tried to communicate with him in any fashion, he only shrugged his shoulders. The other thing, is that the truck was poorly equipped with summer-tires, and only tire chain on one wheel.....
Also, the guy in the Falck truck, the one that jumped out, will maybe get a fine for not using a seat belt, but if he did, he'd die.. Because that truck is as tall as me now, and I'm 175cm. I can put my hand on the roof, normally you'd have to climb to get in.
egentlig begges feil men litauiske bilen bremsa istedet for å gasse, og vis bergeren kjørte lenger til høyre kunne han kolidert med begge biler OM HAN IKKE HADDE STENGT VEIEN.

What did he do in northern norway in winter at all. We have a debate in Norway about banning forreign drivers and trucks that are ill equipted for norwegian winter roads. Roads are bad, winter are worse.
this is called green screen editing they do this alot in hollywood if you notice 0:40 the truck is red and the man is red to and in 0:41 the truck is and man are green
Verka som det va meir arbeid å ta dem av ein å kjøp nye.. hehehe..Har Arnt skaffa sæ ny bil? Har hatt så mykje å gjør i sommar at e har glømt å spør!! hehe..
I hope the Lithuanian truck driver wasn't put off driving in Norway after that little "accident". Ayy. But I know I would have been scared to death by that little trip down the slope.
He probarly did it to make the turn right ahead, but when the towing truck is in front, any car ahead would move... stupid Lithuana pulling closer to the edge.
Om bärgaren satt dragvajern på höger sida så hade det här inte hänt så det är bärgarens fel att olyckan har hänt så han borde bli ansvarig för allt, även om den litauska bilen har dåliga däck,
Yeaaahh... I know who drove that truck, it happen in my town.. My stepdad was actually going to go on that mission, and he's about 30-40kgs heavier than this guy, so he wouldn't be able to jump out that quick. And if he went down with that truck, he'd die, because the roof was smashed so hard down.

these guys have no emotions, shit they must see this stuff everyday....lol If that was in US people would be screaming their asses off just watching it.
Lol nah not really typical here, but back then eastern European trucks were infamous for cheaping out on changing their tires/breaks or getting chains for the snowy roads. Here in Norway, It's ~1200 USD in fine for missing chains, 2400 USD if the wheels are worn out too... 3600 USD if you also happen to use the phone while you are on the road.. so high fines like this have scared many of these foreign truck drivers to get their shit together lol
Once you look beyond the crash, it is very scenic
this is why you should always use explosive coupling, just blow it and let truck fall.
Why did the truck change from red to green around 43 seconds in/59 second left marker!?!? I’m missing something!?
OMG the driver from the tow truck must have had God mode enabled, he saved his own life (at 12 / 13 seconds)
Driver of the truck being towed was still in his truck, he somehow survived.
If that was in Hollywood there would be a massive explision!

whoa impressive wreck
The road actually winds down the mountain not far from where the truck ended up. So actually it was a short cut. And saved a bit in fuel.
was it an east european truck ore Russian one?
Like A Boss!
oh my gosh that's epic and scary
tow truck driver: what the hell happened?! what the hell did he do?!
How did he break his bones? He looked fine afterwards. Unless he cracked/broke some ribs.
Kierowca tira przeżył?
omg!!!!!!! thank goodness the other guy got out at the last moment
in this weeks web redemption, this tow truck driver wants to give it another try around the mountain.
actually it was the owner oft the company who drived :P
good. Hope they didnt have any major injury.
Which episode and season was this?
If we're talking about the same show, it was not in it. They show it in the last episode of the first season but it's not from the show
Why it no go Boom like the movies?

And I thought I had a bad day. Do think he still has his job?
yes, he is alive.
I can't belive tow truck driver was able to bail. You can see him start his evac from the truck at 0:10.
the newspapers says he was from Lithuania.

no. if u look closer. the semi steps on the brakes. that makes the fatal....

Also, the Lithuanian driver was thrown out his window some time during the "fall"..
Sooo, not sure if he really wore his seatbelt :P
This isn’t your video.
