    I built a couple of the backhoe toy and sold them. Costs to much to ship them at 75lbs. The green front shovel took months to build and weighs over 200lbs. If I had to buy all the pieces and fabrication it would cost over $4000 dollars.

    The rack is a bike chain laid flat and welded on both ends. The pinion is made from a bike front hub and a couple sprockets welded onto some washers. Some day I'll do a video on the details.

    awsome!!! i love this, this would be something i would love to have to hone my skills. the only thing i see in need of help would be bucket angle on the shovel. kick the bottom out more and you have it made, (it would probly help more with the dutchmen issue also.) a shovel operator once told me to trick to a sticky latch is to crowd in drop the bucket and just befrore you jack the boom, stop everything and let it kind of wip and come shut. would love to have one.

  • @Draglineoperator
    @Draglineoperator Před 13 lety

    @1bad55chev the dutchmen is the latch assembly. the "bolt" in like a door, the hole it goes in, the latch, and the release mech. im a dragline operator myself,iv never run shovels but if oiled on lots of them. i run a marion 111 4cuyd bucket. nice machine, there is video of it running on youtube.

That's a pretty insane ratio, to think that me passing by 8 people, 1 of them dislikes shit like this that literally has no reason to be disliked that I can possibly think of... Anyone able to fill me in, honestly really curious. Any of you dislikers want to stand up and voice yourself? I'm genuinely interested

      Brandon Bajin I get the whole jealous thing but people are actually jealous of a kid playing with a little crane some father made for his son... I mean common, that's pretty ridiculous don't you think? People actually go out of their way to dislike this because they are jealous of the kid? Haha that's got to be the most pathetic thing I've ever heard... Yes I live on Planet Earth but that is so insane to believe its hard to even comprehend it. Wow
