Usyk took centre ring and dictated the fight. Fury fought off the back foot and landed a few pot shots but that was it. It will rinse and repeat unless Usyk decides different
Fury ,needs to have his hands up marching forward ,using that incredible energy throwing throwing more uppercuts . instead of waisting it going backwards more ugly fighting..
I don’t really pay too much mind to Barry or listen to any pros , or x boxers to me - Just sounds like a repeat of AJ when he was losing to usyk .. blaming his corner n everyone wrong ! He knew he was losing . Tyson is in for another war ! , Tyson is going to have KO. Usyk and fast ! I don’t see that happening Honestly usyk is a Genius in that ring with all the tools necessary along with SPEED usyk going to be much better in this rematch To stop all the controversy on that split decision that was BS ! UD is how I saw it ..USYK was working fury And in my opinion, he was taking over that whole Ring with coming forward and being very aggressive, I don’t think fury can fight long on the front foot he is not an inside fighter. All in all it was a good fight but , usyk a clear winner ! I never bet against usyk and never will rare type DNA-for sure !
Fury does not fight offencivly to conserve energy. This is how he fought every opponent with one exception -Nganou. The pundants/experts said that the only way to beat Fury was to persue him agresivly. This is what most boxers did. Fury used his reach and coubtered them while they gassed themselves out. Later on he was the fresher fighter that went into atacks that ended in him leaning on his opponents to rest and drain tired opponents that engaged ibnto the clinch to rest themselves. If Fury would try to come in heavy and throw himself on Usyk he would gass out very very quickly. And get KO’d. This is why Fury came in lighter and fought defencivly trying to „drain” Usyk. After round 2 Usyk corener told him that Fury is not engaging and Usyk has to move slower and less to provoke Furys atacks. Basically Usyk pretended to be tired. This made Fury probe if Usyk is not bluffing in round 3 and in 4-6 he went full throtle as he believed that Usyk is gassed and he is doing well landing punches. Usyk did everytjing to dampen the inpact of punches by bracing for them. In round 7 Usyk noticed that Furys power and punch inpact was dropping. He started shifting gears to win the fight. That said Furys options are limited. If he comes in heavyer he will get tired even sooner. If he decides to go berserk from round one he will gas out sooner. His tactic was good but he was fooled into believing that Usyk was gassed after round 2. He overcommited hoping to KO Usyk and gassed out just to find out that Usyk has allot of stamina left. Don’t forget that Fury was losing the defencive fight as he couldn’t keep Usyk of of him. Fury and AJ did not „go berserk” against Usyk because they understand that running out of gas mid fight is really really bad when you are fighting a 15 round fighter. Daniel tried to preasure Usyk. Belew tries to outpace Usyk. Both fighters ended in KO’s (Daniel was dropped two times and quit to avoid a KO as his gass tank was empty). AJ in his second fight was in my opinions one of his bestopponents. Bradis did a much better job at fighting tooth and nail. That was an awsome smart fight. With that in mind i think a very interesting fight would be Usyk vs Jai Opetai. Breidis and Opetai fought in USyk Fury undercard and despite his age Braidis showed heart. So did Jai. Usyk vs Opetai is the fight i want to see. Thats why i think Usyk wants to move down to cruserweight.
Great comment. I watched the fight twice and came to a similar conclusion unlike many of the strange comments we read. I actually think Usyk could be in trouble in the rematch..Once Fury has a reason to win then that could be it also. He didn't fight as though he was fighting for the Undisputed title. I really wish he would.
Personally I see Usyk finishing Fury off quicker next time. Fury will throw the kitchen sink at Usyk from the get go next time and burn himself out quicker. Probably be a 6th or 7th round stoppage for Usyk
Usyk wrestles in camp. He has better wrestling skill and actually threw giant Fury off of him multiple times throughout the fight if you watch closely you'll see that Fury's hold tactics won't work against him. Usyk is basically a perfect fighter as this point.
It's definitely a possibility, Fury looked more hurt in that 9th round than in any of the fights vs Wilder. Tyson was lucky it wasn't waved off in the first place, then luckier still that it wasn't waved off after he got to his feet and he was stumbling and swaying like a drunk. Stunned and hurt so hard he careened backwards onto the ropes and nearly went out the ring, then chased and smacked around the ring from pillar to post before being dropped and nearly stopped...and what with how it's said that each time a fighter's chin gets cracked that it weakens it for the future, it'll make something similar happen a strong possibility as well. Fury needs to bring his A game. No show-boating, no taking it easy if his corner tell him he's winning.
I don't think anyone else would have been able to take that barrage of punches and not go down for good. Wilder did a better job of putting Fury down than Usyk. Four times! Usyk is beatable by knockout. Fury actually looked good on his toes but there must be a question mark about his fitness.. He goes missing.
I think usyk still wins possibly by stopping fury but i also see fury doing a bit better even dropping usyk at least once,he hurt usyk a few times & made usyk tried from the body shots,if fury is to win he needs to stop the showboating and keep pushing usyk back & keep the pressure on him with lots & lots of body shots early on
The smaller man knows he can hurt the far bigger man without anything significant coming back because he took Tyson's best uppercut. Next time Usyk will make short work of Fury
Don't get me wrong, I would love it if Usyk sparked Fury out. That said, I think some analysts are overlooking the fact that that fight was grueling for Usyk. That wasn't an easy win at all, and Fury almost ran away with it until Usyk busted his nose. I think the 2nd fight will be close just like the 1st.
@@panmad6156 lots of people said Deonty wilder would finish Tyson of in rematch but it is just a thought based on a previous fight but in reality no one really knows how a boxer will perform on the night not even them their self it’s just people being very negative because the fury’s are mouthy
That may very well happen unless Tyson Fury deprograms himself. He needs to get back his defensive skills, his precision offensive skills, and his transition skills. He needs his mentor Peter Fury. The fight who can adjust properly will win that fight. Only Peter Fury can help him with that.

That's a very good analysis from you Kurt thumbs up for that It looks like other people were watching a different fight I mean that fight was very very close there were many chances that it could have went either way I mean if Fury want to did more on round 10 11 and 12 which I think he won round 12 it could have went either way Also if what happened at round 9 didn't happen Fury should have won comfortably that's why 1 judge gave Fury the win the last judge was only 1 point difference very close therefore Fury has a lot of chance to win on the rematch more than what people think he obviously have look at the fight himself and he saw exactly where he got it wrong
Go to spec savers, that fight was competetive but certainly not close. Fury won rounds 4,5 and 6 and if im being generous round 7. It was a clear usyk win. Dont know what you people were watching.
If Fury gets into the ring fit. Regardless of whether he wins or loses… that’s the fight that retires Usyk and Fury!!!! They both won’t come out on the other side and if Fury does anything close to what he did in the 4th-8th round. Usyk can’t take that from any heavyweight anymore at his age and Fury can’t take the lose or pain of victory anymore too…The vultures waiting for both fighters after that fight are ruthless men… and Turki will put them in… no easy fights, no tune ups
I don't think so. AJ improved in the rematch against Usyk because Usyk had lost the element of suprise. Where as Fury knew what he was up against. I don't see how Fury can do any better in a rematch
@@BABZY627 Usyk was better than AJ twice, that's a fact. But is this older Usyk better than AJ 2.0? We'll find out if Usyk doesn't move down in weight to avoid the trilogy or retire

I agree , Usyk WILL stop fury in the rematch to negate any biase or bad reff decisions and probably in the 9th again to prove a point.
