I love this arrangement too! I feel like it was a great way to tackle a Whitney song by doing it justice and adding your own spin to it. When trying to sing it originally, it’s hard to mimic “THE VOICE” so I could see ppl getting lost in the song bcuz it’s not their interpretation. It was Whitney’s. Once you give your own interpretation and add your own flavor to it like Cynthia did, to me, is a GREAT combination for tackling a Whitney or an iconic song or voice..

It's a DANCE song, I LOVE HER. However, this arrangement is AWFUL! The last thing I WANT TO DO IS DANCE WITH somebody who loves me or anyone! If it's NOT broken... do NOT try to fix it! Still love her voice, but if you are HONEST, this was AWFUL!

For example, she’s not as big and as well-known as other actresses who are also currently in their 30s like Margot Robbie, Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson, Gal Gadot, Jennifer Lawrence, etc if you know what I mean.

Every time I see Cynthia I cry because she’s so frigging talented, she makes every song her own. And I’m just so happy she’s getting her recognition, I’ve been following her for 9/10 years. I first saw her singing Beneath Your Beautiful with Mike Hough. At that moment I knew she was gonna be someone.
Whitney's version was pure pop and energy. This version is more mellow and the African vibes and rhythms are much stronger, along with the jazz harmonies. Interesting version indeed! Kudos to the arranger!
