I love how you gave fluttershy’s tail and mane tip a hint of green idk if you intended this, but it really fits because she is always walking or just on grass with her animal friends and grass can leave some stains, and since she is dragging her mane and tail on the grass all the time, it really fits! I also love the sprinkles on pinkie’s hair, as if she had too much fun putting the sprinkles on her cakes etc and made a mess, making the sprinkles end up on her hair XD Also love how almost everyone just went “yep, rainbow dash is gonna have short mane and tail”, not complaining tho, it fits her super well! And love the rainbow feathers on his wings!
I really liked all of your designs! Your art style is super cute and it seems like you know what you're talking about with your character creation! Twilight I really liked your touches on, honestly I was always really disappointed that her hair never really quite changed, because the flowy and galaxy-looking qualities were my favourite part on Luna and Celestia. This remedies it quite a bit! It's not quite in the flowy part, but I imagine that's just because she's not a full-grown alicorn yet! (The canonical design at the end of the series also never quite... filled my desires, so to say) Apple Jack is just really cute. I like the streaks in her hair and the blanket is something I never thought I needed, but now I know that I do! I also very much like the hoof patterns and the additional freckles. And the hat being red actually makes so much sense! It looked odd at first, but then I got used to it and it looked very good. Overall a nice design :) Rainbow's lean figure makes perfect sense. Pegasi, right next to unicorns, are as far as I know depicted as lean. Plus it just fits her personality a lot, I don't know why but it does imo. Her new hairstyle is just so... perfect, as well! They missed a chance on that one. And of course, black matches with anything and the fact that it makes her look like a thundercloud is just a cherry on top. Pinkie looks like cotton candy and I absolutely love it! She looks simply lovely and adorable, and that's the way it should be. The streaks in her hair look like confetti haha. I really like the sprinkle hoofs. Not much to say here, it's just a nice addition to her design! Fluttershy being the tallest of the group (except for Twi) has always made the most sense to me and I'm glad there's someone else on my side with that one! I'm not sure how I feel about the butterfly wings, nor how much sense it makes within the context of ponies unless she's some kind of changeling, but that's just my personal opinion. I like the idea of the branches aesthetic however and the daisies in her hair make her look very adorable. Not much to say with Rarity, her design has always been perfect aside from perhaps needing some more unicorn qualities to up her beauty even more than it already is- so it makes sense not much changed here, but I like the addition of a little earring. Overall, I think you did a great job and I hope you'll get more traction soon!
Im in love with these redesigns, not too far from the original and yet look unique , my favourite part had to be twilights hair since it makes sense along with the celestia and Luna and if you do more I’d gladly watch them :)
