- Getting the first contract of 2019 filled with our new to use grain trailers. They have worked very well all fall for us and carrying a legal 44.5mt load is pretty great!

Good looking setup! Does the overhead hold a whole truck or is it getting filled as the truck is filling?
The overhead holds about 85mt. The truck legal is 44.5mt. So almost 2 loads. Have to start refilling before filling the 2nd truck out of it. This is our first year with trains. Previously we hauled everything with quad axle end dumps that held 38mt so 2 loads was easily filled from the over head.

Do the trailers have an on board weigh system?
Not a scale. The air pressure of each set of air bags is displayed and those numbers are used to keep the load legal. The guy above the truck hits a pipe on a cat walk to signal the truck to move.
