i watched you since your first video as a fellow modified st150 owner. Recently sold my st150 and copped an astra vxr 350bhp and super modified and love it, but ill love to keep checking back on this channel cos the st150 is a lovely car. Im not gonna unsub btw bro.

Also the VXRs are a car I have always loved. In a way more than the Ford ST models. I loved the Corsa VXR when it first came out, especially in Arden Blue. Do t think the last model of Corsa VXR looked as good. But the Astra has always been great in all shapes/marks. Great cars

Same, from what I have heard the Inlet makes such a great noise and good torque along with some cams and remap it should make for a very fun little car

@@Vredeopaard yeh the plan is to get the best lowest torque my plan is Newman phase 1 cams rather than the usual phase 2. Either will be decent but phase 2 are slightly higher revving compared to phase 1. For me I feel that's better for road use

Was just thinking about you the other day and then was nice to see this post pop up in my notifications. If you use premiere pro then maybe try fill the right hand side audio with that of the left because it's a little dominant in my left ear of headphones even though quality is good
Oh how odd I'd of thought it's the same in left and right. Think these wireless mics work as mono basically. You can record left and right for proper stereo if I buy another but it's just getting used for talking. Although be cool to tape it to the bumper for exhaust sound haha. Or even strap it inside engine bay once inlet installed to get actual intake sound recording
@@DriveWithAndy Yeah the sound doesn't feel completely balanced in both ears. Could confirm this by pulling the audio waveform up in your editing software or exporting it into something like audacity. If you've got discord or a facebook page to message then maybe I can see if I can do a demo

I honestly cant wait for the dedicated video on the inlet. So tempted to do it to mine but seems like lots of extra 'bits' I reckon once you have the inlet fitted you'll want to 'rev it out more' because of the added sound the inlet has created meaning the phase 2 would be the 'better choice' but interesting to see how this progresses and im sure youll have no regrets no matter your decision.

Yeh I see what you mean. I don't think the difference would be massive, it's possibly just a few hundred rpm lower. But for me I feel that's best for road use as you want the most power lower to mid range as possible with me not red lining the car

Well looking like IL be at Dreamscience as had others suggest them as mapped the FF inlet on these cars so have experience with it. Plus it's closer to me 😁

I did FF a year ago. 45° fittings does not work, get 90°
Oh the AN fitting on the top? As that's what I read up is what to get? From other photos found of the inlet it's the silver 45degree fixings I've bought
@@DriveWithAndy yes these two. I read probably the same as you and bought 45° also. However you will end up with such a stupid angle for hoses to connect. 90° fits much better. They are cheap, get both versions and you will see
@@kiklop8362 how strange as seems the fixing to get. If the hoses are odd then I can always change or try other ones in the future as assume it's just a matter of unscrew once fitted
