This is my review on Jackfruit and Durian! Herr are some of the differences between these two fruits! Both very delicious love them both!

@@jasongooden917 I agree. I tried durian at a friend's house and nearly vomited (taste reminded me of onions that went bad). Jackfruit is delicious though.
I tried it man..someone brought a candy made from it once at my workplace...the smell was 🤢 and the taste was even more so 🤮...our Team Lead earlier picked a bunch of the candies from the table and then later was distributing handful to us😂
Believe me it's not meant for everyone's pallette.

We boil the seeds of jackfruit and open it removing skin and salt and pepper it tests so good it's healthy too.
you can also boil the jackfruit seeds in water till they are soft then peel the skin and eat them they taste good

Here in the Philippines, there is a variety of fruit we call Marang which is like the cross between Durian and Jackfruit. It is also smelly and taste a bit like durian but the peal is similar to jackfruit.
I think marang is not a cross between durian and Jack fruit, it is a cross between Jack fruit and Wild jack(Artocarpus hirsutus)......😊

In India raw jackfruit, raw banana, raw papaya are eaten as vegetables.😅😅

That’s the biggest jackfruit I have ever seen
A truck ripped out the gas line in the parking garage next door after I ate a piece of durian which tastes exactly like gasoline. I could've died because I couldn't tell the difference. I burped that taste and llived in the bathroom for the better part of two weeks. Noooo thank you to 😮durian!
Durian is really delicious especially if it's perfectly ripe and the frozen makes it even better, it's good for flavoring particularly for ice cream and many desserts.
Favorite fruit is pitaya from a large cactus good stuff.
I’m in California and haven’t found durian. Only frozen. Whack lol. Jack fruit has its seasons here in California

You could have open the fruit from stalk side.. there's no need for knife. Just oil your hand before opening the fruit cause it's more easy to use hands than a knife
