...wonderful sequence... I'm in awe as much as you about the cathedral of Burgos... its just unbelievable... no wonder that they worked on it for 3 centuries... it really shows! I missed out the castle, when I was there... maybe on my next walk I'm gonna spend also more time there - its really worthwhile.... lovely B&B place in Tardajos, and you looked so happy there... I'm a bit wondering about the budget you're on... when I just look at this one day: the food, cathedral fee, taxi and B&B - this would have been for me a very expensive day! And yet, I think you made the right choices... you really looked content and joyful, Olive 😇

Thank you! 😊 I didn't set a specific daily or overall budget, but I aimed to keep expenses to a minimum while ensuring a comfortable level that would prevent any additional struggles during the trip. Accommodation was pre-booked, totaling €872 for 17 albergues, 5 single rooms with shared bathrooms and 8 single rooms with private bathrooms. As for food, I confess I haven't calculated the total yet - a bit of intentional denial, perhaps, but I plan to do so when I have a bit more time. The day spent in Burgos notably surpassed my average daily budget. 😊
