Philomena's pronunciation isn't as off as you might think, in that "Boleyn" was originally pronounced with the stress on the first syllable. In Shakespeare's play _Henry_ _VIII_ "Boleyn" is spelt "Bullen".
Finding time to look at a flat screen let the makers of Avatar have a go in 3 D . Coming from Wolf Hall to Eastenders and Coronation Street always showing conflict no wonder 1 in 3 partnerships brake down.
My advice to increase your view count, on *all* your videos - change Barry Shitpeas' name, or just take it off the descriptions. This video has come up in my recommended list more than once, so the link to it must have been seen by hundreds of thousands, of whom only seven thousand felt inclined to find out Barry Shitpeas' opinion.
Is there a more overrated actor than Mark Rylance??? Theatre luvvies may worship him, but he lacked any genuine emotion in this. And his performance is the only bum note in the otherwise brilliant Ready Player One. Spielberg seems intent on crowbarring him into every project, now. But his casting in RPL might be the worst I've ever seen.
really completely disagree with these crits. They are trying to be 'cute and clever' - but it hasn't come off. These people obviously dont have a clue about the period. It was slow, but that was part of the joy of it, and Mark Rylance's performance was superb.
"horse mechanic"
As a Spurrier that hit hard.
@@NoahSpurrier 😆😆😆
His father's reaction to the "lawyer" revelation was understandable.

I love how she says “Sort of Tudor Soap Opera thing” 😂
Can we talk about how Barry Shitpeas sounds almost exactly like James May?
Not really, since you just imagined it. And it wouldn't be interesting anyway.
Far from it, Barry Shitpeas character accent depicts the working man. James May is definitely posh.
"jimmy savelle in it" lol
Horse mechanic :D
We all saw it. Shut up.
Excellent , more please.
Just if anyone is interested, the music is Pavane by Faure
Thanks! I was wondering, knew I recognised it

how did you get under the wire of the BBC? I posted a clip of Wolf Hall and the BBC blocked it immediately world wide !!
The video's probably still up because the clips were used for reviewing purposes. I'm sorry about yours being taken down.
Thanks you're probably right
What is the name of this show?
Weekly Wipe. However, If you’re on about the show they were reviewing, it is called “Wolf Hall”
I relate to the theatre thing a bit 😂

Do you understand satire, and comedy, and stuff like that?
It IS satire. But the sad thing is, it's so realistic re how some people would react.
Quick, pretend you were being satirical yourself. It's your only hope.
satire is clever - sarcasm isn't.

I thought that I was pretty good, there. But OK. :)
