This video is spot on I owned a Mk6 Golf that was a brilliant car that I loved very much but sadly got stolen, I would deffo buy another one when I can 👍🏾

Great video as always, been looking forward to you driving one of these, I'd love a Golf in the future, you recommend getting the Auto gearbox but I prefer Manual as I fear I'll get too lazy! Plus I like the idea of having "more control of the car" but each to their own I guess

Does the Golf 6 manual models have gill start assist? I test drove a Golf 7 and they do, very convenient feature I reckon. Awesome video!

Do you prefer a petrol of diesel dsg. I’m considering getting the 1.6 diesel dsg but not sure if it’s going to be too sluggish. It doesn’t need to be necessarily quick but have enough power to get up to speed and keep up with other cars
Diesel for me, as fast as you need, economical, cheap to service and engine lasts twice as long as a petrol

@@BarrieCrampton I shaved mine yesterday and I feel naked without it. I'm not getting as much female attention as before, so I have decided to grow it again. But I'm going to buy myself a stubble trimmer to make it look neat and tidy.
Dsg gearbox is very unreliable, quick at changing gear yes. However, it will never hold up as long as traditional torque convertor auto
We haven’t had any problems with any that we have sold
Jerry Rawlings there’s only ever problems if u don’t get it serviced every 40k miles max in most cases and if it does break it’s a costly fix but nothing to be worried about

S Sxngh I havent really seen anything about them being unreliable, I’ve only seen problems with the dsg so I couldn’t tell you
