- New floor so time for the old toilet to go back in. Instead of putting the toilet back into the original plumbing, I decided to change the pan connector and change the isolator to one that doesn’t pass through and easier to turn off!
Your videos are really addictive to watch , please keep them going , im fairly new to the trade and i learn alot from your videos .. thanks alot Pal you're a star . 👍🏽👍🏽
You probably want to stop sliding a clay pan on an oak floor. Use some cardboard underneath to avoid any scratch disasters
Those white clips looked good! More stability than a pack of talon extensions. 👍🏻
Definitely! I use them all the time
Yep love them
Yeah, they look to be far easier to use than Talons.
@@thelikesofus324 just means I can clip a pipe without moving it out of the way
What are the clips called need to get some.
Now that's a nice & tidy job!
Just look at the state of the wall, floor, skirting & painting!!😳🙄
Should have had a back to the wall toilet then it would hide that shite at the back!!
I’m here to do what customers asks and that was to refit her toilet
Professional job
I came here looking for comments about using plastic anchors for wood screws in a wood floor with wood screws 😂.
(Beside the fact there's a wood floor in bathroom)
CT1 the best sealant you will ever buy.
Great work as usual! I love the techniques and I now want utility just like yours! That thing is so cool and as soon as I find it, I'm grabbing me one lol.
Toughbuilt scraper knife 👊
@@mmplumberFinally after searching I found one at my local Lowe's and I'm dying to use it.
Nicely done ✔️ 😊
Thanks Carlos
I allways seal my toilet pan to floor stop pi.... and that horrible grind noise when it moves and it will
Once i had a place that the toilet was caulked all around the toilet base at floor like in this video. After so many years past the toilet began to rock back and forth. When i pulled it up i found the wax ring had deteriorated and allowed the floor to rot away so the toilet was just resting on a floor joist. Never knew the wax ring was leaking because the caulking trapped the moisture puddle on the floor. I realize thats not as big a problem on the concrete floor in this video.
J’aime bien ton travail, tu travailles très très bien
Thanks mate thank you!!!!!
Interesting plumbing arrangement. Far different than what we have here in the US.
I wonder which method is superior.
That one looks a lot easier to remove and replace with that weird elbow drain. I wonder how often those leak or have problems
These UK push fit pan connectors look a bit pants, but they very rarely leak, and it's easy to remove & refit the pan for blockages or to lay flooring. The only downside really is the exposed pipework, so it's popular here to fit a cabinet behind to hide the plumbing.
I hate to be that guy, but shouldn't you have caulked the sewer line/drain pipe after securing the toilet in place? I only say that because it looks like you disturbed it a bit at 0:42, ruining all that clean up you did prior.
Other than that, great video~
It was all smoothed over when finished buddy, little disturbance 👌🥰
Hmmn, should have worn disposable gloves. Ball valves with butterfly handles are very handy.
Yeah I’ve started to fit them when I can 👊
What country is this from? Doesnt look like any toilet ive seen in the US. Is this a typical toilet setup where you are from?
I was just about to say this. As a US plumber that’s done both commercial and residential work I’ve never seen this ever. Not even distant rumors of this
UK for sure
UK
England
Noway those 2 screws will hold up in time on the toilet base
Why do they put pipe goop on the compression ring? The ring is supposed to make the seal without pipe goop
I’ve never totally understood caulking a toilet. Because if it leaks, you won’t know until you have Basically have catastrophic damage…. It definitely looks nice, and it’s nice to not have little pieces of debris going under your toilet, but personally I’d rather risk that than have my toilet leaking and not be able to figure it out until it comes down through the ceiling….
Id rather just have water on my bathroom floor that let me know my toilet was leaking and MAYBE having to cut Sheetrock than having it leak down through the ceiling and DEFINITELY having to cut Sheetrock….
What’s your reasoning for caulking it?
It’s more of a fixing thing to help the stability of a toilet, if it leaks trust water finds it way out
Nice work,..." ..done all
Not a plumber but silicone around trap definitely going to leak when toilet is clogged. You should have use new copper instead of using the old one in my opinion new hardware.
Great work as always
Love watching your videos
Would appreciate if you can share the tools n which company are the valves n white clips na
Why do you paste your joints? Its a nut and olive. Thats the sealing part. It doesnt need paste as well. 🤷🏿♂️
please tell me you're not a plumber 😅😂

Believe me it does, if it's gonna leak, it's gonna leak on a compression fitting. Pasting is an insurance polocy and no call backs.
Nice goog ideas lucky man❤
Is this in the UK?
Why over complicate things ?
If it works ,it works 💪
I'm not keen on the wooden seat 😂
where do you get those pipe clips from please?
Gloves maybe?
Question..Russia?...Water line to toilet not behind?...No simple floor 3" drain with wax ring?
Nice job but why use the old painted copper, that would have definitely been tossed in the scrap bin
Where on earth is a toilet installed like this?
UK and EU
Pretty work
Ive been plumbing 20 years and ive never seen a toilet installed like that, and no way that two drywall anchors are holding that toilet down for long.
They are not drywall anchors yank, they are wall plugs for masonry use. It will hold the toilet down fine as there is obviously concrete underneath the wooden floor.
😂😂😂
That's like how the Americans use the wax seal I don't understand the purpose of them. They do a job. Same with the screws we use. The rail plugs are for masonry use and will be still down in many years to come.
Just wondering what’s the adaptor in the drill chuck .
Trend snappy mate buy one they make using one drill super fast without undoing the chuck. Just have to buy bits with a hex shank
May I ask what was the spray you used no the silicone.
Water and washing up liquid
How do you like the wera spanner, and what size is it?
Is worth getting ??
Yeah I love it xl mate 👍
Ill get it, does it fit the 15 mm nut and 22mm with ease
That toilet wouldn’t be secure , I can tell you that 100% if you sit on it and try to lean your weight left or right it will move , because of the floor design , if you want the firm grip , that section of the floor needs to be redone properly, in a longer run, they will definitely have problems with that toilet, and shitty laminated floor 😅
Hey I can only do what a plumber can do 🤣 I didn’t put the floor down
What paste are you using on the compression fittings?
Slictite from laco but I may switch to boss white
Pipe dope here in the colonies?
Gotta ask, why hammer the screw in??
It’s pushing the plug into the concrete below
Why seal around the bottom of the toilet IF the wax ring gives water will set under the toilet and rot the floor
If he used a wax seal sure. Watch the video.
Personally I would've replaced that ugly painted pipe for a cleaner look
Можно было изначально посадить унитаз на Силиконовый герметик без саморезов в ламинате
Everything looks so easy but........😅😅😅😅
Luv me that razor
What country is this in
Polecam poogladac polskich hydraulikow- swiatowa pierwsza liga
What country is this?
Have you ever had an acute viral infection?
The day you get one will be the last time you touch shit pipes with bare hands!
Haha nope but thanks for the tip
Если хотите, чтобы канализация работала долго и хорошо, то лучше отказаться от прямых углов при повороте потока.
Get an olive puller
It was too close to the wall to get on
If the olive is crushed on to the pipe it's better to cut it off
Never in 25yrs have I used pipe dope on a compression fitting. No need when done right.
I've never used it in 39 years.
Why pull the toilet back out totally pointless, 7mm bit fits through the holes just fine
Too close to the porcelain to drill
@@tomsanders8714 perfect answer
@@tomsanders8714 Maybe for an amateur I've never had a problem

Lol, everybody never had a problem until they did and fucked the toilet. This guy demonstrates best practice, not that of a chancer.
😮
What kind of witchcraft is this?
English 🤣
Ахуенно 👍👍👍👍
unprofessionally and amateurishly installed. This process is a definite no and if I saw my tech using this same method I would have told him to immediately stop the installation. Just because it works doesn't mean it was done correctly
That's how they do it in Australia. So you're not going to see your Tech doing that. They don't even fasten the toilet to the floor most of the time.
😂 this guy's in the Uk. besides... what do you expect? A fresh lead and oakum joint in 2024😂😭
Just go and try to impose 'your' will on another countries plumbing codes... 😂😂😂
