This work represents the pray for the earthquake victims killed in The Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
"Requiem" is one of the notion Noh performence originally has.
Reijiro Tsumura
・Representative of 観世流緑泉会 (Kanze Ryokusenkai), which is the Noh school founded in 1370's.
・Holder of important intangible cultural properties (Noh theater synthesis)
・A specially appointed professor of Nimatsu-Gakusha University (from 2007)
・A lecturer of Hitotsubashi University of Sociology (2009)
2011年東北大震災に被災され亡くなられた方々を思う作品。
「鎮魂」は能が本来持つ祈り。

すばらしいです。
私の祖母が仕舞いの師範でした。
もっと、このような創作能が見たいです。
Just discovering Butoh and this production/dance/art group today. I love it. I always get called a "weeb" because I love pretty much anything Japanese. However, my love of Japan it isn't an obsession over anime like most people would assume. I love the artistic culture, traditions and history of Japan as a whole. They are extremely unique and I'm glad they are being preserved and continue to evolve and improve even to this day. Please don't ever lose that.

Pleasant performance and music as well. I play music from the time where first European sailor men went to Japan, and eastern orient. Maybe some ancestors were there, on your Island, always having interesting culture, with deap roots too (I'm happy I did practiced judo when I was a child and later some aïkido) thanks for this moment... My delight for years was Ozu, Kuroshawa, Hokusai, Kawabata.... But I didn't travel yet so far... Bye
