Introduction: This is a dance belonging to ancient Chinese Dunhuang. First of all, there are some ignorant people who say that this is a plagiarism from the Chinese literary era. Please stop being ignorant. First understand what Dunhuang is. Dunhuang is located in Gansu Province, China. In ancient China, it was the place where the Silk Road must pass. It was also an important commercial town in the Silk Road connecting Central Asia, West Asia, South Asia and Europe. Therefore, people from various regions came and went here in ancient times, including India and Islamic countries. , people in Europe and central and western China. Therefore, the ancientization here has also been influenced by many cultures from China, India, Buddhism, Islam, ancient Greece, and ancient Iran. Anyone with knowledge of history knows that this is not called cultural plagiarism, because thousands of years ago this place was a unique civilization produced by human multicultural influence, and it is a splendid treasure of human history, culture and business. It shows the multi-ethnic friendly exchanges and the prosperity of commercial culture here in ancient times. Dunhuang has left beautiful murals, ruins, texts and antiques to mankind. A large number of dance movements in the video are designed from the murals in Dunhuang, the Chinese ethnic Xinjiang dance and the traditional Chinese dance. Everyone is welcome to visit Dunhuang, Gansu Province, China, and please protect the traditional culture of other countries, because the frescoes in Dunhuang were stolen by Western explorers in the 1980s. This is shameful behavior.

You are right the the dances have elements of Indian dance. The dances from the video are inspired by murals from Buddhist grottoes in the Dunhuang and Xinjiang regions of western China, which were key hubs on the ancient Silk Road. The local culture was heavily influenced by Buddhism, which traveled to China from India around 1500 years ago. The dances have elements from Indian, Chinese, Persian and Arabic dance, reflecting the fusion of cultures in these regions 1000 years ago.

Why all the videos about Chinese culture have some self-proclaimers from India?
Cultures have been transmitted to each other before
There are five dances of different styles, of which there is only one that has something to do with India, the woman dancing with a pipa
Others have Chinese own style and Central Asian style, Islamic style
As far as India itself is concerned, their own dances are also deeply influenced by West Asian and Aryan styles.

Yes, that’s because there are many cultures and dialects in China. From cooking, dances, music to literature and drawing. Each one of them have deepest foundation to it. Just the fried rice alone it got 6 styles from 5 provinces to cook fried rice. You can get 20 to 40 recipes on fried rice. Don’t forget there’s Hong Kong style too. In one village have one custom and dialect. Then another village in another ten fifteen miles away. They have whole different dialects and custom of their own. That’s why don’t be surprised when there are ten, fifteen dialects just in Canton Province alone.

We are very fortunate to have the chance to watch these dancers through the internet. In ancient times, these dancers would only appear before Emperors and Kings!

no that is not true in ancient times dances were very common, what you refer to is a certain perido and even in this period which is not ancient, it only pertains to certain dances. Also in certain chinese periods dancers were not seens as "nobel", also this dance developed amongst exchange and trade. Lasty the queenmother of the first emporot of "china" was a dancer, for the normal people. And her skill brought her to several people etc. You try to claim noa all is better, by stating a lie, because it is the other way round, now it is harder to see such performances live than in ancient times. Above all dances as temples were common and free
