I haven't been playing much aircraft mode. However, today, I put rotors on my incinerator build. It’s super effective for attacking the ground.
Box with guns is fine, you gotta stack more armour around everything if you want to survive. You'd be insta shredded on PS.
The helicopter game mode can be fun sometimes, I hope they keep balancing it. I actually have a stillwind build I do decent with
to take advantage of how the gen points work, it's the VERY LAST item to be equipped that will be disabled. Mostly only works when you have 3 or more weapons mounted. If it's just 2 weapons, then, the last weapon to be equipped is still going to go down.
The last item and that it uses the 'most' energy out of them as I noticed that 1 energy modules don't work in this way with the larger gens.
I read somewhere that if you want your weapons to work after losing your generator, especially for 12 energy cabins, you have to equip/place them first to cover the 1st 12 energy usage then add the generator along with the modules. The last energy draining module/weapon placed will stop working after losing the generator.
Yeah that's what I thought too I tried all different scenarios but my guns are still the first to stop it's almost like the higher draining item stops first so a 6 energy cannon will go offline first

I took the Nagual and mounted it under a helicopter build. It can elevate(depress in this case) to the point of almost shooting straight down. Almost negates all incoming fire, unless the other guy has a Starfall or mounted their guns sideways for greater traverse/elevation.
Gonna have to make a flying cannon build soon

You should try flutes, you don't have to depend on the rotation speed of the propeller, just your aim

East quarter still has a glitch or two you can get stuck above the ceiling won't fall and you can get stuck in-between certain buildings.
try upside down cannons next, it was a lot harder to aim, but there was a little better response time to enemies shooting upward.

I wish I could share with you my tsunami helicopter because it's a 3k sky tank that looks cool but I'm on console 😢
see i hate that spider legs are getting a nerf cause builds are to bulky and people agree but a helicopter flying at 124 speed with an artillery or any heavy weapon with no real center of mas basically a hovercraft is balanced to people no complaints most weapons cant even hit them.
The helicopter battlepass was a very bad idea.. no experienced player wanted this.
Is there a reason they don't implement crossplay? Is it too demanding for them or sum. It'd help this game sooo much man
Is it just me or does anyone else hate how the messed with the helicopter controls?
Because personally I found the "original" helicopter controls much more realistic and manageable on my xbox controller.
This game mode won't survive unless devs ban homing weapons. Sorry for telling the truth!
