I remember the resource officer at Banneker, he was nothing more than Mall Security Guard….. However at South Atlanta High School & the other Atlanta Public Schools we had REAL ZONE 3 Atlanta Police Officers & METAL DETECTORS at the main & side entrance to the schools.
I agree with CP Shun, we don’t need Mrs. Jenkins walking the hallways with a gun, Metal Detectors & a strong police presence would help…. I think🤷🏾

I don't think the guns are for the kids they are putting guns in the schools for a active shooter that entered the building. You dont hear about stuff like this up north or the hood because they have arm guards in the school
