So he decided that he doesn't care about anything anymore.. And that he was with Micah only says that he had no other choice, he knew what Micah had done but knew he couldn't help it, and the moment he shot Micah, he finally got to do what he had wanted to do for a long time
Dutch definitely came up to that mountain to get his revenge for Arthur. That was his son! Even though Dutch fell as far as he did, i think he still wanted to avenge him
The brotherhood and love that Dutch felt for Arthur was real. he took him as a son, taught him everything, gave him a chance when he was left to be nothing. Dutch surely avenged Arthur and I’m sure he felt for Sadie too. Don’t forget the 1st mission and that Dutch was the one who made sure that ms Adler her husband got a proper grave and avenge.
I heard the epilogue was planned to have you play as dutch and have that guilt build up inside him before he finally goes through with the plan to kill micah

Dutch and john were very close to each other (one of the reasons of arthur jealousy) and john learnt very fast until he was dutch's "golden boy". So john was also a close family member to dutch

I mean, the word means "the action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil" which Dutch doesn't really do by RDR1. No other game made me cry so much and so many times like this one, every time you play it again you notice little moments that make you sad because you know the ending one of the greatest stories ever made
I still can’t believe Dutch chose to listen to a man he’s only known for 6 months instead of his right and most loyal man, Arthur. I wish we get an RDR 1 remake or remaster, where John, Dutch, Javier and bill, mention Arthur and maybe even Micah.

Arthur is the best character I ever played, I was so fully immersed. He had me cracking up with almost everything he said, especially the accent. He had a big heart. I need to go back to my chapter 2 save, it’s just not the same playing as John. I’m but yet another member of the Arthur fan club
When I did this mission I could see the pain in Dutch’s eyes as Mica- Rat said that. The pain, he betrayed his brother, his son. He became the man he told Arthur never to become. High Honor Arthur became the man Dutch wished he could be.
