First bull was absolutly a hit, you could see the impact in the video. Just hit back, it sucks but it happens to everyone at some point or another. That's cool that she still got a good one and you all could do it as a family. Cool country to hunt, waiting to draw one myself.

The morning our mom shot that 6 we saw him down in the willows again. That was 2 weeks after her miss. Trust me, was in the same mindset as you

@@Montanaseek I shot a pronghorn with my bow at 40 yards, clean passthrough. saw it walking around two week later. it's crazy what they can take.

@pokerman9108 you do realize there is a difference between a little broad head and a 180 grain bullet. But you can believe whatever you want. You weren’t the one in the field watching this bull for hours trying to determine whether our season was over or not.

@@Montanaseek lmao yeah ok, that elk just hunched up because the bullet scared him..
I've been in the field for hours, days, weeks, tracking poorly shot bulls. It's cool, If I saw it again and it seemed fine, I would move on as well. It's all good, shit happens.

@@Montanaseek no need to get all butt-hurt. like I said, It's all good. just funny you insist on it not being hit. 🤣. your camera is not taking frames fast-enough (not to mention the range factor...) to track that bullet my man. also you are looking through a lens. (convex lens at that) but if it makes you sleep better at night. By all means 🤣🤣 maybe it just nicked him a bit. but that "hunching" is not a move they do when spooked. even this "keyboard hunter" knows that one. 🤣it's cool, I dont want you losing more sleep over it. 🤣

Meat for the freezer and a big bull for wall. Looks like the hole family enjoys the great outdoors.

I've hunted this area for 30+ years. The chance of a ricochet hitting that bull on the island would be as close to zero as you can get. Its a solid gumbo soil with maybe a few dime sized rocks around. Vapor trail looks like she shot right under him. No sound of bullet impact. People flapping their jaws about something they know nothing about..you have to love the internet. That bull is most likely still alive today!!

What caused the first shot to be off by 40 inches. Wrong dope, flinch, multiple factors? I definitely don't think you hit it. Vapor trail is really low and when slowing it down to dosent seem like it ricochetd into him.

Not totally sure could’ve been multiple factors, but I would say range was the biggest

@@seekmontana9159 bro that bull was hit. you can see it do the hunch back thing when you slow it down. slow it down to .25... obvious low and back hit. It's good to know it wasn't fatal. elk can live through a lot. I have found broad-heads stuck in their necks etc. That elk was hit though. 🤣😂
