    This new generation makes the old two looks so out-dated. I was on the fence about this new CTS, but after watching this video, I'm on board, gorgeous car.

    Love Cadillacs since kid, all models, everything they do is just amazing, too bad that Cadillacs are not popular here in Europe, you can buy one but to maintain is expensive because there are few running out there and also no many servicing garages, I always loved American cars, Cadillac, Lincoln, best cars ever made!!

    Seeing one in person, I think many will be surprised at the rear end, which I think is underrated.. It looks plain in 2D, but its really scultped and angular in person. Actually pretty dramatic as it all angles to the middle crease dramatically. I get the same impression with the ATS. At night its really lit up in a very classy way. Really, really pretty car in person. I think many will be surprised just how muscular and handsome it looks in person.

    Cadillac is definitely on a different page these days! Getting back to their "Standard Of The World" theme was pivotal. Competition was leaving Cadillac way behind in tech & design, heck even Hyundai is stepping in on Cadillacs lack of progression! Hopefully they can keep up their momentum & continue their aggressive design, performance & tech concepts? Keep CUE alive but make it more intuitive less 2nd generation. Responsiveness, better integration of controls & you my friend will find continued success! Again keep your foot on the gas & be the "Standard Of The World" cause this is AMERICA dog gone it & we can & should be proud to introduce our products to anybody on the planet!!!

    I Was looking at both 14 ats and cts model years same engines the 2.0t and basically same options. Both were around the same price obviously used cars and I ended up picking up the ats. I liked that it was smaller and more agile. It’s been a great car and I’m now putting more performance to it. 400whp is my goal.

    Buttons, in many cases, are still faster to use than a touch screen. CUE should be optional as a tech package for those who prefer it.

    The Audi A8, BMW 3 and 5 series, Mercedez C-class and CLS and I bet the E-class all also use gooseneck hinges. Well looks like everybody's going back to "the old GM".

    Rear leg room decreased by about an inch from last year so it's not much roomier back there than current compacts. And that rear end is such a disappointment since it brings Cadillac back to old-folks territory. The previous CTS was such a perfectly designed car it's too bad they had to ruin it. Though I do really like the front-end of this car.

    Since the Vsport costs 60K, I wonder how much the 2016 V will cost as the last gen cost 65K. Surely, it going to be cheaper than Merc, BMW, and Audi but I have a feeling it'll cost more in PROPORTION to those three, and that might be due b/c GM will reduce the weight and that costs money.

    I bought a 2014 Cadillac CTS4 Performance and the car looks great and that where it ends. I have never owned an American car. Always owned a german car. I am getting ready to get ride of the Cadillac and going this weekend to look at Lexus. I have had nothing but problems with this car. The Cue, struts (4), exterior lights, all new switches on the dash and the shift cable. It is good in the snow with Conti SSR run flats in upstate NY. The car has every option you can get in a CTS. I have had my fill with Cadillac and now it's time to get rid of it. It's are second car with low miles. Cadillac needs to do better on issues with their cars. I did no research on the car and it bit me. Lesson learned. Again, it is a nice looking car for sure.

    All the 2014's I have seen don't have the led instrument cluster can someone help me finding the electronic one as in this video

    • @damian09pl
      @damian09pl Před 7 lety +1

      Only the Premium package includes the led cluster, I believe

    • @zeroxlulu
      @zeroxlulu Před 7 lety

      Only the Premium trim CTS's have the LED screen cluster and since most people just get the base or luxury trim CTS there aren't many for sale on the after market. It's a been a pain for me to find a 2015 or newer Premium CTS with the Kona Brown interior and LED screen cluster, there's so few of them!

    Cue is still mediocre and the rear is a bit of a cowardly design. Center console has shiny black carbon fiber only - thus no wood. Though it's gaining popularity they say, it's still tacky. Wheels are too small. Look at especially the rear wheel, how small it looks.

  • @jkandybar

    Another tiny economy car trying to pass as a Cadillac a.k.a. "The revenge of Cimarron"

    • @pianofry1138
      @pianofry1138 Před 2 lety

      The Cimarron was a piece of crap Cav. This thing gets to 60 in under 5 seconds and is rear wheel drive. Old Cadillacs don't sell anymore. Big boats aren't in demand because people who buy big new cars prefer SUVs. They've adapted to compete against brands like BMW and Audi.
