I have taken 42 lakhs home loan in 2017 from icici Bank for 15 years along with that, I have taken iciciprudential home loan protection plan, and one time premium was paid by the bank.
I planned to close my home loan in June-2024 in that case may I get refund from iciciprudential home loan protection policy amount.l as it was covered until 2032.

मैंने, 20lac ka loan apply किया था iifl NBC se jiski emi 18200/- बताई थी, और kareeb 30k processing fees, ke कटने के बाद कहा की apko 19.7 lac hi मिलेगा, ab, laon section ke time kehte 20lac ke sath 1.02 lac ka home loan insurance भी जबरदस्ती chipka रहे हैं, यानी टोटल 21.02 ka loan बना दिया Aur meri emi karib 19k ki कर दी है, kya मैं इनके insurance ki जगह pure term plan ले सकता हूँ ya नही? Kuch batatiye

If property is being old (30 Years) then if insurance company had issued the STRUCTURAL Insurance policy, then in case if future any calamity occurred, then how much % claim will insurance company will likely to be settled?
Never buy HDFC Loan insurance, they will "loan" you the full amount of insurance on the total term of your loan and charge the EMI on it and when you try to repay to loan in full, you still have to pay that loan amount, which is a big loss

My papa took a home loan of **lakhs in the year 06.2022
Thereafter he took a top up loan of equal amount **lakhs in the month of january 2023 which was fully disbursed in the month of april because of mistake from icici
Meanwhile my father suddenly left us forever
But before he died he told my mom that dont worry i hv taken an insurance on this loan from icici , so if anything happens to me you dont need to worry about its emi, it will be waived off
But after he died we informed bank about it
And then the bank simply denied about the insurance
We dont hv any documents as proof
But in his last days he told maa that loan has insurance
He had habit of loan insurance in past also
But the bank is denying now
They are saying no policy is attached
So we shall have to pay emi
