Hey beautiful! Good question, I still have family that live in my city so if I needed to I would forward it to them. I was considering getting a post office box however because Iâll have brands send things and I wanted to keep them in a safe place so you could totally pay for a P.O. Box to send your mail to, theyâre not very much at all ($50-80 every 3 months depending on the size) hope this helps đ€

@@NijaSym Another option you can consider is instead of renting a P.O. Box at the United States Postal Service, you might want to do some research at renting a box at a UPS store, a FedEx store or something similar. I rent a box at a Pak Mail store and I can get mail and packages delivered there from Amazon, USPS, UPS and FedEx. I think a P.O. Box at the post office, you can only get mail and packages that was shipped by the USPS delivered to the P.O. Box.
If you let the hotel know you will be receiving mail they will accept it for you. So yes you can use the hotel address

I'm currently considering living in a hotel because I live in a city where apartments are hard to find. A major advantage that a hotel offers is that the rate includes so many things, like utilities, that you would be paying for separately in an apartment. I've been living in an emergency housing situation for several months, in which I'm sharing a room with a stranger. Not having my own room has been driving me up the wall. However, I was able to stay in an aparthotel for a few days over Christmas. The cost was totally worth it.

I left a DV relationship and I took my daughter and our cat and also went to an extended stay because of Covid and the current housing market I couldnât even find a apartment or a house to rent like at allâŠâŠ I tried looking for a yearâŠ..& I also coincidentally work from home (thank God). After 10 years of putting up with my ex âŠ. I canât even begin to say the weight that was lifted off me when I opened the door to my hotel room. In my extended stay I have a full size kitchen , so with a stove and a full size fridge and I cried happy tears. I have moved into a house I am renting now since then but I still miss our little extended stay room. It was my freedom room, I will forever be grateful. & yes itâs more money howeverrrrr youâre not paying for electric and gas, water and sewer, cable, etc⊠so it kind of evens out

I'm living in hotel myself with my fiance we had to move from the apartment where we was living it was too much drama. My fiance has to wake up early in the morning and our neighbors be drunk and loud and he hates that and it's a hotel suite because we don't have extended stay hotels in our city but I did make our room like a studio apartment. And I commend you for leaving that toxic situation you don't need that in your life

Thank you beautiful! I felt that way too at first but having a daily routine helps, and adding things like candles or wax melts makes the space feel more like yours and homey. Also cooking good meals for yourself too will help you stay balanced when living this kind of lifestyle đ

Hello! I chose to prepay so I didnât have to worry about fees or anything at check out đ also they give you back the money you pay in âincidentalsâ or like a deposit, it gets returned to your card after check out so I always prefer to prepay.
Even if you say youâre gonna stay for a month you can pay weekly (every Monday for example) at the month long price (you get a bigger discount the longer you stay) hope that helps đ€
They are no âapartment lease feesâ everything is included water, electric, cable, WiFi, kitchenette, gym, washer/dryer, even a maid service. Hotels are great options because you donât have a Landlord, You have new neighborâs every day, security deposit, just pay weekly or monthly. Estimated is about 2 - 3 grand equivalent to a regular apartment if not cheaper. You can always negotiate with hotel management for discounts because your a regular guest. đ„°

To me moving in a hotel wasnât really about saving money but more about getting a break from my toxic situation. So it felt like more of a vacation, more luxurious than frugal đ but thatâs not going to be the case for everyone
Cause no electricity bills or water itâs cheaper thatâs why so many homeless live in them or motels
@@rebekahm7317 I know that part. I was considering living in hotels because itâs been hard trying to get approved for an apartment due to credit and all that . But I feel like itâs not saving me money in my case because I can get an apartment with most utilities included with under $700 rent . But Iâve been in hotels recently and itâs been kicking my walletâs ass just for a few nights . I love that vacation feeling tho like nija said.
In major cities areas it could actually be cheaper to live in one of these extended stay type hotels.
It's like $50 a night for a wood springs suite hotel room here in Dallas, Texas, which is around 1500 a month, which is cheaper/the same as an apartment in the same area.

It can get expensive for sure. You can pay weekly or monthly. My hotel gave me a discount for paying monthly. I was paying a little over $3,000 a month. Yes you get breakfast everyday (pastries, cereal). Gym is included, pool is included. You can find cheaper places of course but I liked the location of this place. Hope this helps đ

Itâll feel like a safe haven love đ find a nice hotel even if you canât afford to stay there for months, when you first leave find a hotel that makes you feel luxurious, donât tell your partner where it is. Ask for a suite with a bathtub and take lots of healing soaks in the tub đ wishing you the best đ„°

@@NijaSym you should look into the extended stay ones like the water walk hotel they have one side for hotels and one side is actual apartments, they are nice washer and dryer and full kitchen inside. Or residence in they have extended stay rooms too some even have a fireplace and full kitchen and can be inexpensive.
And sorry i have 4 kids under 5 so i catch about every third letter of a word when watching youtube lol.
It actually depends on the hotel and location .Sometimes extended stays are a lot cheaper than renting an apartment .
Extended stay hotels have a kitchen where you can cook đ look into that if u havenât already đđđđ

I have a habit of making my bed every morning when I wake up. It makes me more productive and less likely to go back to sleep. I would have them service the room occasionally but I am a really clean person so never really needed them. Plus I have a dog so having strangers walk in the room with her there would be my nightmare lol

Hey! đ€ I work full time on CZcams and in my brand but there are lots of ways to make income online, you can freelance on Fiverr, start your own CZcams channel, sell digital products or services, research some ways to make money online and choose the Avenue that feels best to you đ some of these income streams will take time to grow but in the meantime you can find remote work like on Amazon, Apple, Cox, Virtual Assistant, etc. Hope this helps đ€

Why not pay off your bills first so that you can have good credit? If you can afford that price every month then how did you end up having bad credit?
In my case rebuilding credit was going to be a gradual process, the truth is it can take time to raise your score. For my situation I felt it was time for me to leave and this was the best option for me đ Ofcourse it is helpful to be strategic and have a plan, but in certain circumstances when you feel called to go you go and figure it out along the way đ

How can you claim residency of the hotel you live in?
Well the hotel already has a building/mailing address and you have a room number. You can also get a P.O. Box at the post office and have your mail forwarded to you. I wouldnât go as far as to change my drivers license to reflect the hotelâs address. Unless itâs a hotel that also has full time residents this is only a short term solution đ

In my case no my apartment was cheaper monthly than the hotel so this would be a fancy splurge depending on where you live
Maybe if you were traveling in south east Asia or even Mexico you could stay monthly super cheap
