My wife and I were married in British Columbia. We honeymooned on the coast. We spent some time beachcombing. I picked up a lot of shells, ropes and wood. One piece of wood was used to display our wedding picture. I wish we had more time to do those things again.

The resin sea glass cups would make lovely candle holders. And I liked the art piece you made with the post office bag: very clever with the queen’s silhouette. Very crafty, Si!
Afternoon Si, the cups are absolutely stunning, just like looking down into a rock pool, with all the tiny bubbles just adds to the affect, people often collect and pick up little bits on the beach, and they could be made into memory cups,as a reminder of their holiday or special moments with someone that was walking along with them, the old post office sack is, very good look like a giant penny black stamp, your so creative and l love to watch you,as you share your ideas as soon as they are born, brilliant,xx take care so 💋

I wouldn't be so sure of that, look up the Cerutti Mastodon site, said to be evidence of humans, or Denisovans as far back as 130,000 years! Also, Topper in the Carolinas, and Bluefish caves in the Yukon.
All evidence that the "Clovis first" model may be horribly wrong about American history. Like the 600 megalithic structures they recently found in the Peruvian Amazon.....

I was in hog heaven when I found Time Team video's a few years back. Recently I found another channel showing them, some I had not seen, some I had forgotten and the joy just keeps on giving. I am a closet archeologist. Read books, magazines, and video's on all things old.

That is very cool, Si. Remember art is what you love not what someone else loves. But I do think it's cool. Those pieces of embossed glass would make amazing pendants and or earrings. I love the glasses.
Si you need to come up with some kind of pack that redistributes weight so you can lug more stuff out. There’s probably already something available out there. I hate seeing you have to pass on things because the bag is getting heavy.

I’ve watched most of the Time Team. I live in Texas. Between watching you, time team, Northern Mudlarks and Nicola I’ve learned a lot about England, and the surrounding countries.
This reminds me so much of my childhood in the 70s with my Dad, at Erith on the saltings, we'd spend all day bottle digging as we called it. Glorious days. Thank you.

Well, when this guy said he was going to take that dirty old full of holes post bag home and put it in a frame, I thought he was completely bonkers!🤦♀️. and thought, why the hell would he want to do that?! It is terrible!🤦♀️. Then, when I watched all that he did with it and the end product, it was fabulous! I loved it❣️. Then there was the sea glass! I thought the little bottles were cute, but then he made those glasses, I was amazed again!! Very clever this guy.
