- There's only one thing better than a good campfire version, and that's a good campfire version of a great Pearl Jam song. I particularly enjoyed putting together this arrangement of Present Tense for solo acoustic guitar, because it worked so well! I hope you enjoy :)

This is so so so helpful! What a great, efficient, thorough but simple way to teach this! No one has time for nonsense at a campfire…so keep it simple and keep people singing and requesting! Love it!
Everyone else pretty much said it, but this is one of the best campfire editions yet
thank you humbly, uncle river :)
One of the most underrated CZcams guitar teachers ever, I learn most of the stuff I know from this guy and I am so happy he is here to help🙌🙌🙌big respect mate🙌🙌🙌
(being totally serious here) wow this is quite an honor, I don't think anyone has ever called me underrated before, I feel like in the spectrum of being rated, this is a new echelon and I'm now on the charts! thanks Logan haha :)
BLUEBERRY 😂!! You’re the man, I love your takes on PJ songs!
Somebody say campfire? I’m in. Love the campfire versions.
campfire misery coming at you in the next 48 hours ;)
😃😃😃
I just realized that I've watched so many PJ video's already and learned a lot but never have thanked you for it. So hereby: a big thank you from the Netherlands, it's amazing that you put so many effort in every single tutorial. Please don't stop what you're doing :) !
why thank you Sander, and hello :) I don't think I could stop if I tried.
anybody feel free to correct me if I am terribly wrong but I believe (one of) the pet shop boys said the acoustic guitar ought to be banished from existance whereas Slash said (roughly) that it is one of the most honest and pure, bare expressions available. No ridicule to either; we use the tools we use, but videos like this are really good in a time when most of our radio airplay promotes music which is 'produced', that is, largely made by pressing these or those buttons to make a fast hit, ….this however was a great era (even some of the electronic based music which I say I really like), ...great job Ryan sharing all this material which blows the roof off even on an acoustic!
I believe you will stand uncorrected Phil. Thank you for your lovely words :)
this is amazing!! i love your tutorials and they are really helpful!!! you’ve definitely helped thousands of people learn music and share it with their friends and family.
I appreciate you music :)
I was feeling pretty shitty today...much better after watching this. Thanks Ryan.
that makes me so happy jeff thank you :)
in my humble opinion this is the best campfire you've done yet! badass🤘💙
thanks Noah!
Love it. Great job Ryan.
thanks Bole :)

YOU ARE AMAZING!!! I love this song, and all your tutorials!
cheers to you Mr. Rocha :)
This sir is splendid!!! Adding today the campfire set list
humble thank you madame secretary!
One of the best yet!!🎸🐢🔥
thanks John!
Once again man! That’s a moon shot, deep to left, and it’s outta here!!! ( I know you’re a pitcher so maybe I should have went with, 3 up 3 down no runs, no hits, no errors. But that just doesn’t have the same feel.). I got to figure this is how the song started. Then Mike went into his dungeon and started mixing up things that aren’t supposed to mix and kaplooyee, here we are. So good!!
I suppose it depends which team you're on ;) I'm glad you enjoyed that Kevin!
Awesome song, amazing lesson. One of my favorite Pearl Jam songs.
thanks BB!
That was sensational buddy even if I am a year late. Don’t know how I missed this one but I’m glad I found it. You’ve got a lot of best lessons but this is definitely one of the very bestests

Thanks dude. By far the best campfire version of a song so far.

Ryan Lendt your welcome brother. I was driving home yesterday and heard All Night by PJ. A great song from Lost Dogs and was going to ask you to do a lesson on it but I figured it out on my own. Awesome song to rock out too!! Maybe for your other subscribers you could bang this one out for them! Highly recommend it!! Be safe and healthy.
Jeff

Tks Ryan always the best!!!
thanks Mario!
You've taught me plenty of songs. I've also learned I need a ukelele and a place to have campfires. Finishing up basement this weekend so I can get back to playing regularly.
Basement campfires, problem solved. You owe me $26.95 for consultation.
Ingenious. Where do I send payment for the consultation?
is there a basement campfire consultant in the house!?
That's spectacular
thanks Don :)
Bravo from FRANCE!!!
An another PJ campfire!!!
thank you France Eric!!

thanks bro
Great campfire edition 👍🏻

Loving the updates of some of the older vids! Could you put Not For You on the list for an update/more fancy version please? Cheers :)
I'd be interested to lend a 2020 ear to N4Y and see what else I can find James, thanks for the idea :)

@@RyanLendt I'll see whether I find some time... BTW, did you get a chance to check my version of All I want is you? 😋😁

thanks for being here Ashlee :) see you sunday!
Man fn awesome, you’ve shown me a lot good sir
thank you so much good sir :)
U r the man! Thanks!
thanks man!
Excellent campfire Sir!
I was playing around with the different styles you suggested for the beginning and you can start with a Dsus2 and do an Eddie pinky stretch to e5 and then b3 where your ring finger already is to do the A and D notes in the higher octave :)
indeed, i decided against that one. nice spot Chris :)
You are doing a hardwork
thanks Ashish :)
Sweetness!!!
whooooaaaaaaaaa (jimmy eat world)
ur very enjoyable to watch! props
thanks for partyin Lev!
Enjoying

Sounds amazing Ryan! Hey, what model is your Taylor? I'd love to upgrade one day :)
410ce. thanks Alan!
Excelente versão, meu amigo. Aguardamos por “Jeremy” campfire.
thanks Uris! Gosh I don't know if that can be done in a way that's satisfying, but i'll continue to mull it over...
Ryan Lendt Don't worry buddy; we are not in a hurry. Know that we love everything you do. ( google translate)
I want that Eddie vedder telecaster guitar painting. Where can I get that?
Hey great job Ryan! I'd like to request Pretty Penny by STP.
thanks for the STP request NC :)
Aw man, CZcams claims you played a copyrighted song in the super secret Patreon live session and won't let me watch the good time that was had. In protest, I'll spend the evening rewatching all your campfire lessons :)
I think I can easily mute that section to unlock the stream - I will investigate thank you Rasmus!!
i wonder if you could do a campfire version of toes across the floor by blind melon.
a very interesting idea E, thank you for it
You absolutely have to do frogs by AIC
i absolutely do!
Amazing version! Thank you very much for sharing. Would be cool if you could do Creation's Finest from Mother's Cake, they are an excellent band from Austria. I think you would like them a lot too, you can tell the Led Zeppelin influence in them.
thanks Luis, and thanks for the suggestion :)
Hey ryan from chile.....hold on men.......thanks for u chords.
Hello Chile! i'm glad you enjoyed that Jose :)
Two words... (1)Bloody (2)Awesome
thank and you Chris :)
Can you do a guitar lesson of the song carousel by blink-182
what a fun request thank you Blake :)
Jordan!
woot!
is there a video for Deep?
yeep
that version where glen hansard plays guitar and eddie comes and sings with him is a nice version.
i gotta check it out!
czcams.com/video/qerGly44Sgk/video.html
That’s it buddy. Check it out.
Can you do a camp fire version of Nookie by Limp Bizkit?
i never thought I'd live to see the day when a campfire version of Nookie was suggested 😆
Question, would you be into doing 🤔 Dave Matthew Band Songs? Just got watching his live stream and damn ( What Would You Say ) I have to say although I disliked him for a long time, and not a super huge fan although credit were credit is due, he is extremely talented and I do have likes and requests even if he is unorthodox at times and out of my realm of like. So my requests are Crash Into Me, Crush, What Would you say, and Satellite - I strongly recommend checking out his live stream from tonight and thanks Ryan
I've done Crush :) thanks for the suggestions Rob!
@@RyanLendt well I will have to look again sir, I missed it somehow?
The last dance played this song in the last episode
yep. a buncha folks were watching my incorrect vid so I had to remedy that situation
As usual I'm all kattywampus. Having too much fun with my acoustic tuned to DADGAD. Since it's my only guitar, and a pain to tune, I'll have to come back to the campfire edition.
hehe. kattywampus :)
Awesome dude. Another great lesson. I love the guitar man, always something new to learn. Please check out the acoustic duo I'm in. Just Google The Remnants You make me smile. I'm partly there because of you Ryan. Thanks 👍
I've heard your songs before Mark! I wish you continued success :)
Thanks Ryan. Our debut album is due for release on October 5th. You're an internet legend and miss pooperdoop. 🤘😉
Dear Mr. Ryan Lendt, if that is your real name. In the '90s, DMB used to do a cover of Johnny Cash's the Long Black Veil. It's a pretty boss cover.czcams.com/video/2jgqEvfn7EE/video.html Sounds cool stripped down. How do you play it? This guy does a nice cover: czcams.com/video/F6q4c-XT57Q/video.html What are the chords? That opening chord looks bananas. Maybe you can do a video on it. And here’s wishing you the very best for all the new ventures that life has in store for you.
hehe. there are those who call me... Tim... thanks for the suggestion volvo and the well wishes :) right back atcha!
Someone put this on a tab please
I feel like that someone should be you Andre :) get it.
@@RyanLendt Maybe I should... I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you for your videos. I'm a terrible player with no free time (dad of a 4 year old, so you can imagine)... but I hope that by playing (even if semi-terribly) to my son I can get him to become interested in music earlier than I have. Your videos have taught me a lot and help me so much in the process. You should sing more, it makes it easier to figure out which part you're playing :)
Anyway, thanks a lot and cheers from Brazil!
Need to slow it down and not GEEK out thinking we all know what cords your talking about
Awesome! Awesome!
thanks Wayne!
