I only read 30 to 40 books a year ( I work 40 hours a week so it gets in the way of reading) but god I live for these kinds of vids. I finally have a few days of and I really should be reading. But here I am.
Hey so the other day I talked to my boyfriend about how I’m struggling with reading all the books I already have because I keep buying more, and he had a really cool idea I thought I’d share with you 🌞 Ok so he said I could try and read every unread book I have without buying any new ones. Instead, put 10$ or sth in a jar each week until I’ve read them all. And when they’re all finished I can take the money I saved and buy a whole bunch of new books 📚 Not that there’s anything wrong with buying books tho, I thought it would be a fun challenge and I already started yesterday lol ☺️ Anyway, I love this one and all your videos so much, thanks for doing them 💕💕

I really enjoyed we hunt the flame! It definitely has Children of blood and bone vibe,but is it's own unique story in many ways as well And the near witch is high fantasy 😅
I love that you enjoyed Truthwitch enough to pick up Sightwitch. I love that series so, so much!!! I didn't like either of Lovelace's poetry collections. There were some strong poems in there that I liked, but overall it just wasn't a style I enjoyed. Also, if you have trouble removing sticker goo from book covers, I've found that using the Garnier Micellar water (waterproof makeup remover kind!) on a cotton pad works great! It gets the goo off without getting the book all wet and gross!
As someone who also reread the Grisha trilogy and plans on rereading Six of Crows and then language of Thorns before reading King of Scars, I feel you on that!!! Wow! Love love so many books on your list!!! Definitely adding a LOT of them to my list!!!
So many of these books were SO good! Sorcery of Thorns was incredible. That was the book that got me out of my fantasy slump. I’m currently reading Wicked Fox and loving it so far!
I just bought The Kingdom two days ago and it’s next on my TBR! I’m super super excited to read it! I’m also reading Illuminae right now and I’m really loving the format :)
Love 'Four Dead Queens' - and can't wait for Astrid's next book to come out next year. Have met her a few times now, as she is Australian (so it's always wonderful to hear of authors from here, doing great things overseas) and she is so lovely. Hoping to get to see her again in November, if she gets to go to another one of the conventions that I will be going to, and quiz her some of the new book she has out next year.
Turtles All the Way Down is an AMAZING book!!!(also my favourite book of all time).The search for Mr.Pickett isn't the main part of the book.The most part follows Aza And Her thought spiral struggling with Anxiety and OCD.
Crown of feathers is so good! One of the only new ya fantasy I have 5 stars to this year (other that sorcery of thorns I guess) the main character is awesome as she is very kind and achieves her goals that way which is nice and different to see in ya!
I *highly* recommend the Superpowered quartet by Drew Hayes. It’s on Audible (love the narration!) and on Kindle. Super Hero college hidden within a SoCal University with great characters and a great plot! Totally worth the credits!
I’m so sad that I was unable to get through Legendary, I stopped around 40% through and I’m annoyed because I reread Caraval to continue with this series, but sometimes you have to move on, too many books to read! Love you Brittany!
I've just read the Caraval trilogy & I completely agree with you, the story did not feel cohesive between books 1 and 2... book 3 is definitely more cohesive with book 2 but book 1 just feels like a totally different story and world but I preferred it!
I think she once mentioned that she messed up the settings of her camera, so that could be the reason... Idk if this is true, or I'm confusing it with something else...
I felt the exact same way about Amanda Lovelace's first book. But I absolutely loved The Witch Doesn't Burn In This One. So I think you will love it too :)

I'm starting Red Rising today, but I'm scared because I notoriously hate Sci-Fi books (was forced to read them in high school and have a major distaste for them because of it), but I've heard so many good things about it that I feel like I'm missing out. Same thing with Skyward by Brandon Sanderson. Everyone seems to love those books, so I'm hoping to gain a bit of an appreciation for them. I like the idea that there's a lot of violence and gore in Red Rising because that's not something I often see with the typical fantasy books that I read. Here's hoping! 😊
Fire and Flood seems SO GOOD why have I been sleeping on it omgggg I also need to read more classics and I own Jane Eyre but ugh I’m lazy ANYWAYS AMAZING HAUL hella books I didn’t plan on reading before that I’m second guessing
Love i currently have a ring light and a light setting. Like I said in my previous videos: there’s an issue in the settings on my actual camera and I hadn’t wanted to refilm all of the things I’d already done on it! Manual focus makes it so I’m actually out of focus for most of the video, so I’m not really sure how to make it work, but thanks!
@@BrittanytheBibliophile Sorry that you had to expain it again, i just recently followed you! About your camera settings, do you maybe accidentaly film on Scene instead of U or M? Or you could also try filming on High Key instead which should automatically brighten everything! Unless you mean that your camera itself has some kind of damage. Which would explain why you go out of focus on manual even though once you zoom in, manually focus on your face, it should stick to keeping your face visible. I totally understand how frustrating it all must be for you though ;; thx for all the good content despite these setbacks
When that stack started to wobble when you added books I was a little afraid for you lol! I just finished Before the Devil Breaks You and it was a pretty big departure from the first two books. I’m super interested to hear your thoughts on it!

Have you read any of Tamora Pierce's book series? She's a phenomenal author. Also I just binge read Natasha Ngan's Girls of... books (I'm hoping she'll write more) and they seemed to be right up your alley book-preference-wise.
i LOVED Turtles All the Way Down- i went in not expecting much as i thought it was a mystery but it’s definitely the story of a girl w OCD while a light mystery is happening in the background! i hope you enjoy 🥰

Okay so, I work at a book store in the city that Martel lives in. Cool right? Not! His wife and him are the most pretentious people I have ever met. They let their kids go haywire and destroy what me and my coworkers work hard to achieve, and they treat employees like crap. He has the vibe that he's better than everyone because he's famous. Also, Pi was plagiarized from an indie author, and Martel has admitted to "taking inspiration" from it. I threw out my copy as soon as I met him.
Again But Better was objectively horribly written. The writing is BAD. I really wanted to love it and forced myself through the 400+ pages and I did finish. It was my worst book of the year lmao. Hank's book is GREAT.
I thinks my love for books is getting a little out of control, but I still watch a bunch of book hauls and dream about all the books I want. 💜💜💜Another amazing video💙💙💙 I am from Europe, so aditional to already huge shipping there are also extra costs. Does anyone have recommendations for online bookshops that are good for Europe?❤❤❤
