G’day John. I always enjoy watching your videos and your narrative, which adds so much depth, and color. Your videos stand out from all others in this genre and I thank you for your time and effort to bring us these videos. Thank you too for the pre-protest tour. As usual, your nose had it right in drifting to the site of an arrest on Whitehall. Can’t help but wonder what triggered that arrest? That fellow @ 1:06:00 was quite the end cap for this video. He was behaving in a very abusive, taunting, and insulting manner. I’ve no doubt that he will only get worse as the day goes on, and more cameras show up; he is just warming up for later. I believe there should be strict "CROWD CONTROL" set up by Fire Dept/Police Dept before some unforeseen incident where there is a 'stampede' situation. Esp with unsupervised children. I hope it never happens.
Nice to see the Police Horses Eye Protection. Thank goodness here in Queensland Australia we don’t have these Protests. Fifty+ years ago I took part in many large protests but there was NEVER any RIOT gear needed. Our World needs a reset.
Oh, what a treat! That police horse looks like a gypsy vanner. Of all the horses colorings, the dapples, the greys, the blacks ,the reds, appaloosas, the paints are my absolite favorite colorings. John, I was scrolling yesterday and found the Blues and Royals with the horses on a beach. It was amazing to watch the horses rolling in the sand. The troopers were very casually dressed in shorts. A few in fatigues. They were letting the public come up and pet the horses and answer questions. Is this something you could find out about and maybe go to next time? I thought I heard someone say Ormond😊. You probably already know about this, and I'm late to the party, lol. Friday is my 65th birthday and I'm wishing for an exciting video for you to bring us❤
They have a break in Norfolk, I'm sure the video you saw would be Holkham beach, near Sandringham (I'm also sure that would have something to do with where they have their break , especially as HM Queen Elizabeth was so involved with her horses ❤)
That’s correct. I noticed there was some new Holkham footage up. This is where the HCav horses and troopers go when the Kings Own take over for a month in June(or is it July? I get that mixed up ALL the time 😂) It’s a great chance for the horses to de pressurise and to strengthen the bond between the horses and their troopers. They get to run and play and swim, and tbh it’s so much fun to watch the footage that’s taken.
@@paulinemegson8519 I think it's June , Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery , with their amazing Lady Gunners who take no prisoners , I do hope they're the same this year 😁. Sea water very good for the horses legs as well , Red Rum the 3 times Grand National winner used to train on Southport beach .

@@kathellison8084 you're right we have loads of stables in Northumberland who bring their horses to run on our long, clean sandy beaches , in fact the bank whose logo is the Black Horse did their shooting for the well known advert that starts with a girl running through trees and overtaken by beautiful, black horses which ends on our local beach at Beadnell, I'm sure you'll know it ! There's also a stable in the dunes at Blyth/ Seaton Sluice beach, it's wonderful to see them 😀

I find it interesting to note how gentle the horses are with kids , especially the very small kids.
As soon as i heard the cprl of horse talking to you, I heard my late uncle, who was RAF & passed away nearly 3 yrs ago from the big C! His voice was so very close! Sounds like he is an awesome person, with a great character! As always, respect to ALL troopers, 2 & 4 legged!
I just came across another channel where the guard's horses are relaxing on Holkham Beach, Norfolk. (Hope its ok to mention it. On my Walks.)

The guy they ejected stole someone’s orange drink that was sitting by the fence as he first came into the courtyard. I am guessing he then tried to sneak behind the gift shop to steal another drink as he had a second water bottle when he was shouted at by the gatekeeper. That’s when you caught up with the guy again.

It's high time the horse touching stopped. The horse and guard ought to be segregated behind a barrier, to keep tourists at a safe distance. There are literally dozens of foreign tourists who can't read the warning signs......
They stand on a public footpath in Whitehall controlled by Westminster council not MOD , any form of barrier would be potentially dangerous to horses and riders if the horse had a meltdown !

I agree, but if there are barriers in front of the box and the horse has a meltdown there could be some serious damage to the horse, if the guard is thrown he could be trampled.

Good for that guard saying it is their problem if they just read the sign they know that the horse may bite them or kick them. What is should read these horses do bite and kick and if you get bitten it is your fault if you choose to ignore the warning signs. Glad they can say something again. John, if you look at 1:05:11 the mouth on a stick walks into the frame at Horse Guards. While the Corporal of horse is talking to those two, the mouth walks towards the gate and spies a bottle of what appears to be Orange, which he promptly adopts as his own at 1:05:24 and walks through the gate.
I feel sorry for all the tourists who have spent a lot of hard earned money to get here only to find that once again the spectacle of Horse Guards has yet again been cancelled. It's about time a halt was brought to these protests.

The "Cow" horse is actually a "Pinto Horse". They are beautiful.
In the UK it's piebald for black and white , skewbald for brown and white .
Pinto or 'paint' is an American term.
And can be black or dark brown, with white often will have 2 color eyes (the pie bald) great breed!
Piebald & skewbald are the standard English terms used across many British english speaking parts of the world. US pinto sounds Spanish.

16:50 Horses are so smart! This one demonstrates it so well! Using its mouth like a hand; searching the jacket, checking the pockets and any hidden zippers🥕 🍎 No teeth involved! A little cheek, but definitely gentle, given the power behind those jaws (yeah flat teeth hurt like hell!) And if motivated, horses can neck swing people by their hair!😅

Thanks John for editing this video so that it comes up as a recent video for me (at least). I believe the horse you thought was Ormonde is actually Oscar (he has broken blaze). The horse in the box before that was Talah (mark is hidden under the forelocks). All based on horses you identified in more recent videos that I kept track of. It's harder for me to identify horses without head markings. I usually try to identify horses with head markings and foot markings. When neither are available, then I usually have to defer to you based on the hoof ID.

Hi John. Linda from Florida. The black & white police horse is called a pinto. At least that's what we call them in the States.
Too big to be a pinto,even to big to be a paint, thinking a Percheron or some kind of draft horse..the pinto coloring can show up in most breeds,the horse didn’t have feathering on it’s hocks..so that leaves out a few draft breeds. That was a big horse.
They should train the horses to go potty before they bring them out!!! lol. 😅😅😅😅
