The Great is a satirical, comedic drama about the rise of Catherine the Great from outsider to the longest-reigning female ruler in Russia's history. If they will keep it historically accurate I don't believe there will be some more chemistry. :D But maybe to make it "longer" and milk the series more, maybe they could do something like that. :D Unfortunatelly it will end only one way. :D
Yes I agree! They have amazing on screen chemistry and it was really hard for me to buy that she was madly in love with Leo. Turns out theyâve already been in a movie together as romantic interests so theyâre clearly very comfortable with one another and it shows.
With Leo I think it was that he was there for her emotionally, physically and intellectually. He helped her cope with being in a place she at first hated
She did say she love him, in a way. Of course she could also be just trying to manipulate him
Nick has come a long way since Skins, glad to see him doing so well.

Ryan, Iâm a history teacher. Itâs inaccurate, but it never pretends to be anything else. Itâs fun, I like it, people need to chill.
Mystic Fox completely agree! It even has a disclaimer as a part of the title screen! Itâs well written, well acted and fun to watch. Plus They did a lot of work and research to make the sets and costumes historically correct.
Also a history major here. They definitely embrace inaccuracies which make it all the more fun to watch, I feel like that's the point! Absolutely love the show

Great! They're both great. I feel excited for season 2 regardless of how the history is, the ending is still hanging, Somehow they create new story their own.. though is it weird for me to call them cute in the first and last episode, such an integration of the 2 characters. It's well made, so it's based on a play(?)

Elle Fanning is literally American Counterpart of Carey Mulligan. She strangely resembles Mulligan a lot and they frequently starred in a period piece movie.
And I want Elle to share screen together with Saoirse Ronan in a period drama romance something similar to Ammonite or Potrait of a Lady on Fire

one of the best points of the Show is the chemistry between Nicholas and Elle, they are the best actors in the series but unfortunately we had few scenes between two, which again I recite as the highlight of any episode. Several minutes were wasted with Elle and the actor who played Leo (I love him, I met him in the Borgias)
