- Vision Quest Hike by Abraham Lake is a scramble to the ridge. Located in Nordegg, Alberta, Canada and is about 3.5 hours drive from Calgary. The first part of the ridge just after the tree line is a steep incline hike followed by scramble/ rock climb along the ridgeline until you find the summit register (little metal box). It was challenging hike and extra care must be taken when scrambling because of the loose rocks. Thee views are amazing and you can see the expanse of Abraham Lake. It took us around 7 hours (including breaks) out and back.
