Yes, anyone who thinks Big Country was only about "guitars that sound like bagpipes" need to listen to more BC. Stuart was one of the most underrated and talented guitarists ever! He is missed!!

Was blown away the firs time I'd seen BC live at Reading Rock Festival 1983. Someone threw a can on stage and Stuart fronted him up - marvellous. Sprinkling of punters when they came on and 40k when they went off. Dancing arms around shoulders with jocks from Fife, Blue Smirnoff and coke and a wonderful time. Hold BC second only to Slade as the best live act for me and I've seen 'most of them'. Amazing back catalogue and Stuart's lyrics to me are up there with Dylan - true soulful poet and man of the people. RIP Big Fella. Lx
