      how do i stop the jog wheel going forward? bcoz when i put my hand on jog wheel the song still plays but a little slowly which doesn't allow me to scratch between a specific bar.do i need to make any change in the settings? Help....i have the same DDJ 400.

      Check whether or not they are in vinyl mode and that should sort it

    What sound or sample are u scratching off of over the music? I typically scratch of another song loaded or a break inthe same song.I use serato dj on a mixtrack pro 3.What is the best settings to use for an organic scratch sound?

    Well the frequency changes with faster scratches because it basically speeds up the song, pushes the waves closer together making a shorter wavelength. Short wavelength=high frequency.
