Underrated car, the second generation Laguna had a lot of problems, but the built quality of this third generation is actually really good.
Even the second generation wasn't that bad if you got a late model. It wasn't uber reliable, true, but it also wasn't a "tow truck queen"
Laguna II is the nice car , too.
Try the first generation. It's such fun to drive

Gives me a lot of memories. My family had an 08 Laguna from autumn 08 to autumn 19, same interior and was also a 2.0 petrol. I'd like to buy one at one point just because it gives me nostalgia of being a kid.

2008, Renault used 2.0 non-turbo engines. 2021, Renault uses 1.3 turbo for the same power

I own a laguna 3 2L 140hp from 2012. One piece of advice for any laguna user since i had but one little trouble with this model (otherwise it's a perfect all-rounded car). You might burn sensors from the motor if using ethanol (this version of lag is flexfuel) since those ones are rather weak and you'll get different types of electronical issues. But it's rather cheap to replace
Hello, currently my laguna flex fuel is having problems. She has always run on ethanol and the mechanic cannot find the fault. Could you tell me which sensors are faulty? THANKS .
@@laurentferret8492 Hi, there's a box after the injectors called "Boite Papillon" or something like that (i'm french btw). It works wonders after cleaning it up and it been 2 years!

Agreed. The gearbox is different from the Laguna 2 although both are 6 gears. The result in Laguna 3 is higher RPM and worse fule economy. Can't understand that choice. I usually don't even use the third or fifth gear, it works fine to just go to four and then six. Weird box.

У меня Laguna 3 2,0 без турбо. После пробега 200 000 км. Двигатель начал сильно брать масло. Около 1литра на 500 км. Кто то сталкивплся с подобным?
У чему је проблем?
@@ja6614 еще не ремонтировал. Пока что езжу так, доливаю масло
Пришло время вскрывать мотор, так как начала брать антифриз (пробило прокладку). Вскрытие показало - причина жора масла это запавшые в двух цилиндрах маслосемные кольца. Запали потому что закоксовались (наверно масло подделку лил). Все остальное по мотору в идеале, еще заводской хон на цилиндрах, вкладыши коленвала и кольца в идеальном состоянии.
По работе: замена сцепления, шлифовка головки, плоскости блока, замена всех сальников и прокладок, замена термостатов.
Стоимость запчастей около 1000$. Стоимость работ -около 800$

slow as a 90's 1.6 enine car.
The sound and elasticity of this engine is awful .All together ....design is nice, but the chasis is bad , handling is embarrassing , and the engine is smooth as a drill .
