Having Tom Carter every week is awesome , knows his stuff , knows his stats and has some humor also , know him personally and glad I do , constant professional
Best way to learn about how to control the lanes and angle/ball adjust is watching these shows.
Very nice now he got victories in two sports. Congrats to John.
Congrats to John, what a great dude!! Got to bowl with him back in the day when he would enter some of our tournaments. You beat some studs john on your way to your first!
I have absolutely nothing against the other players that made it to the championship round here -- but I am VERY happy for John Burkett. Still remember him appearing on the cover of Bowling Digest magazine in 1993, the year he went 22-7 for the Giants, in his Giants uniform -- with a bowling ball in his glove. 😁
Congrats on your first win John and may this be the start to many more titles to come
Bill Rowe used to bowl on Beat The Champ out of Buffalo, New York the same Beat The Champ Tom Baker, Cindy Colburn, and Bob Learn Junior bowled on. Nin Angelo Brad's father also had memorable runs on the same show out of Buffalo. So did Doris Coburn Cindy Colburn's mother.
Great Bowling Gentlemen.
Some close matches and good Bowling! 👍 love it
Burkett, I remember him from the Red Sox
Nice to see Burkett get a W , also fun event to watch, Eugene is just a sick talent to watch love his release
Burkett was lucky. He didn't bowl very well for a professional and he only beat Parker Bohn III by 3 pins. Parker Bohn III didn't bowl well either. I was rooting for Parker Bohn III.
@@lynettepalecek3141 have to disagree, that pattern got tricky , the indicator for that is when you see the other players who are really good struggling
@@bowlingdj300 No. The later games had a lot higher scores.
@@lynettepalecek3141 Its hard to explain so all good, glad your a bowling fan
Ooo, that power outage was at a brutal time
This was great great work
Amazing 😍
28:15 it was a fart sound haha
But great matches!
First time I've ever seen a professional baseball player win a PBA event. Quite a tournament for Burkett.
KOZY making a cameo...LOL
Bowling is a sport that is much more forgiving for age than other sports that are high intensity. Some spots only work when young or early middle age at most.
To Mike - I have a jacket I'd LOVE for John Burkett to sign. How do I make this happen? Rebecca Weller

Holy 🐄.
They need to tell people to switch of there phones it puts players of there game
Still have my embroidered shirts from the 1970's but those old King Louie polyester shirts are a bit snug and itch like.. well.. just not comfortable. Bill Rowe must have some newer old stuff..
high flusher call the plumber
...its always coincidental that commentators tend to say something negative before someone bowls and then it does happen...
The scoreboards are way too light to read in the first game. I had to strain to read Parker's scoreboard. The second game was easier to read. Several years ago, the cameras showed closeups of the players as they were bowling which I really enjoyed. I miss that.
what am I even doing here, I'm german and I don't even bowl that often. Still, I am impressed with the performance of these guys and I really like watching it
The professional bowlers in the Senior PBA bowled much, much better several years ago than they did in this tournament.
@@lynettepalecek3141 thank you for actually telling me this, because I NEVER KNEW. why would you say has the level at which they played gone down?
@@DennisGr Because several years ago, the senior bowlers had much higher averages than the senior bowlers now have. They also had higher scores in their games. Look up Dick Weber and Earl Anthony for two examples. You're welcome. 🙂🎳
John Burkett had a fantastic performance
If john is having troubles with weight, i am a fitness chef that can offer high energy with low carbs to match his sport and fitness requirements. I can boost his energy and lower weight.
The 1st, and 2nd matches of the South Shore Open had dramatic finishes
I agree, but the professional bowlers didn't do very well. I was rooting for Parker Bohn III in both games.
Try, game, set, match.
Yoooo
It mite help if these fools showed there scores better
Truely think parker gets that 10th frame he wins it but great job burkey
I was rooting for Parker Bohn III.
This Game is fun but its a total ripoff it has always cost a small fortune to participate
Bowling has always been a blue collar sport, but you need a job to participate.
It was great watching Parker Bohn III here!! He was always one of my favorite bowlers! Another favorite bowler of mine was Norm Duke! The only name that I recognize in today's lineup is Parker Bohn III. 🎳
