My first international was that Engjland vs France game in ‘91. That St Andre try remains the finest try I’ve ever seen. I remember at the time, the whole of Twickenham stood and applauded, stunned at what they just seen.
It’s crazy how thin the backs look in the amateur era. Also where’s bill mclaren or Nigel starmer smith? Finally geoghans try against England was far better then the Irish offering here
Jerry Guscott such a graceful runner

No
This French try in 1991 is a classic
I've not seen that one from Neil Jenkins before. That's up there with the very best...
Roy genial
From the front on camera that tony stanger touchdown looks dodgier with every year. Seems to touchdow on his knee!

Stanger's try was no try. He bounced the ball down so not grounded and at least 2 Scots were in front of Hastings.
When they are ON France can beat any team. On their day OFF any team can beat them.
@1:44 Looks like the Scottish winger lost control
He did, some of us have known for thirty years, not least Stanger himself.
Omg ....he does....TMO please.... never noticed that before !... same old Scotland.. always cheating..🤣😂🤣
Rory Underwood vs Scotland 1993; Scott Quinnell vs France 1994 both better than the first two.
I agree, although the first two were more important within the context of the championship.
These clips aren't the same without commentary!
That last Irish try was pretty sh*te tbf
Yes 90 - 94 was bad for Irish rugby but they could have picked a geoghegan try
