I recently cut all my hair off. It has been growing in and I relax it and lay it flat. I love it. Your length on the top and sides is the longest I'll go because I just can't be bothered anymore. Someone asked a question about maintenance and you suggested a professional. I go to the barber for lineups. Would the barber be someone you would suggest to maintain this cut???? I can relax at home. I'm really trying to stay away from the stylist.
I would say definitely do your research. Some barbers cannot properly cut women’s hair, especially when it’s relaxed. If anything, I would encourage you to find a great hairstylist who can at least cut your hair and your do everything else in between salon visits.

I've been using Nutress for years now thanks to you. I like it better than Nairobi as well. A lot of the beauty supply brands & salon brands are to watery or they put too much oils in them so they don't lay the hair proper. So Thanks!

Beautiful style! I also rock a short, relaxed pixie, but don’t think I can get away with washing every few days because it won’t lay as smoothly between relaxers. How are you able to maintain the sleekness while only relaxing every 6 weeks or so?
Thank you! I also do a partial relaxer, just the sides and back, in between those weeks. I also keep my sides and back super low so that there isn’t too much hair to keep in place.

@@iamAyanaAbakahPlease be careful with relaxing even partially so often. It is not good for our scalps & can eventually cause hair loss especially in our crown area..no matter how good you take care of it. Blessings

Yes about 1 at the top and slightly shorter on the back and sides.

Hi! Thank you! I relax every 5-6 weeks depending on how short my hair is. I do a full color every few months.
I know this is a old video but can your hair cut be achieved with clippers or is it better to use scissors?
What would be a good store relaxer if we can’t go to salon?
Unfortunately I don’t use any store bought relaxers so I can’t recommend any. A brand I used back in the day isn’t the same formula so I don’t want anyone to get burned by it.
Appreciate the details of this video. My hair is full and looks nice when it's dry but wash days are a nightmare with all the shedding. Any suggestions? I am relaxed.
Hey! What does your detangling process look like?
My last relaxer was in January and as my hair grows my strands are like this: from the scalp for about two inches its natural then 2 more inches it's straight then wavy then straight towards the end. I am dealing with three different textures per hair strands so detangling is 😪😪😔painful my hair is confused. When I blowdry after wash day everything is uniform but when its wet a mess.
My hair is short but not as short as yours. Can I use a razor comb to get it this short or would you recommend a scissor cut by a prof
